Ductless Plus HVAC System

Hands down the best contractors I've ever worked with. Jared and Denver are hard-working, honest, and attentive to details — the exact people you want cutting through your ceiling to install mini-spits. The installation is flawless and my house was left cleaner than before the start of the project. The process from start to finish was straightforward and transparent. Jared was able to price me in 10-25% lower than the competition by right-sizing my system but still using high quality Mitsubishi equipment. It was a great experience overall. I'd recommend this top-notch team to anyone!

After last summer without having any AC in our house, we decided this year we could not continue to work from home and not have some type of cooling. Since our house had baseboard heating and no ducts, the best option would be minisplits. I spent a fair amount of time reading about the best and from what I could tell Mitsubishi was bar none the best on the market. Through their site I found a handful of local contractors, including Ductless Plus. I originally planned on getting multiple quotes and going through the typical process of comparing contractors price. Jared, at Ductless, was our first and ONLY contractor we spoke with about our project. Prior to his visit, we watched a handful of the Youtube videos that showed other home installations. From those videos it was very clear that Ductless did an amazing job installing the units. When we visited other contractors websites, most of them only did minisplits as an afterthought, and primarily focused on traditional forced air AC. When we met Jared, his enthusiasm, combined with his willingness to explain all the project details and how things were going to happen, made it a very easy decision for us to go with him. We might have been able to get a few dollars off at another contractor, but I don't see how we would ever be this happy with the installation! Now that it has been hot, these little units do an amazing job of keeping our bedrooms and main living space very comfortable. I can without any reservation recommend Ductless Plus. Checkout out their videos and talk with them, I don't think you can find a better experience.

This business has a perfect score and Jared and his team absolutely deserve it. I have a hundred year old home that is always a challenge to upgrade and have worked with many contractors that I feel just wanted to get the job over with as quickly as possible. Ductless Plus did the job with the care as if it was their own home. They were funny while working and did a great job cleaning up. Jared was great at offering multiple options at different price points and then following up with how to care for my furnace and air conditioner to make them last. He even followed up with maintenance that my tankless water heater need. I would absolutely hire these guys again.

Jared got my mini-split AC system working again after three previous companies - from installation through attempted repairs - performed poorly or failed. I was finally referred to Ductless Plus and their man Jared corrected problematic installation issues, repaired and enhanced the system and it is running better than ever. He is a problem solver and hard worker. I highly recommend him and the company he represents.

After several years of research and indecision, I chose to have a mini-split system installed in my older home. I was nervous about the whole project, but my hesitancy was completely unnecessary! I needed a VERY old water heater replaced (and other jobs to plan for as well). Had quotes from several companies. Jared was incredibly helpful on the phone and when he came out to discuss another job he also evaluated my water heater. He was very helpful and informative in a straightforward yet kind way, came up with a great quote and set a date. Jared and Denver came out on a Saturday (in deference to MY schedule), got the job done fast, clean and completely professionally, and were joking and singing the whole time (though really, guys, maybe keep those day jobs for now ;)). I recently purchased a home in Denver which was converted from a commercial machine shop, and had one or two unique challenges when considering an HVAC system (no previous HVAC system, low ceilings, brick and concrete block walls, and built largely without permits at different iterations since 1934). I had three different HVAC companies come to my home to talk to me about installing a 2 to 3-zone ductless minsplit system, and after Jared of Ductless Plus came to talk with me, I knew I didn’t have to look any further. He and the rest of the crew at Ductless Plus are so knowledgeable and experienced with this type of system and with the top of the line equipment (Mitsubishi) they sell and install, I was confident I was getting the right system for my home and one which would last probably longer than I will. In addition, Jared understood my aesthetic considerations in terms of where the interior air handlers and the outdoor compressor were to be placed. This enable a dialogue that included both the science of HVAC and the art of interior design so that maximum benefit was achieved in both of those potentially conflicting areas of the overall system design.

I met with Jared on Wednesday and he wanted to install beginning that Friday. The others I had spoken with told me of potential delays due to logistic issues with the equipment. I hesitated at first because I was going to be out of town for a week during the time which he wanted to be working, but I have a security system that allowed me to grant him and his crew access while I was gone, so I let them move forward.

When I came home, it was like entering a different place entirely. First let me say Jared and his crew had cleaned up after the installation such that I wouldn’t have known they were there at all, with the huge exception of my home being a wonderful 74 degrees when I walked in. When I left, my home would at times be hotter than it was outside. On the regular 90+ degree days we had this summer it was rarely below 85-90 inside my house during the day. Jared and I connected the day following my return, as he wanted to show me personally all I needed to know about the system and how it functioned; how to program the remotes, and what each of the different modes of operation are.

In addition to Jared and everyone at Ductless Plus being thorough and experts in their field, they also offer discounts of their own, and were aware of all the rebates and discounts offered by Mitsubishi and by Xcel Energy, and Jared handled the paperwork for it all (which can be confusing and needs to be precise). I was able to get a system that was perfect for the size and configuration of my home, and the latest technology available, for thousands less than I would’ve paid elsewhere.

I have nothing but good things to say about my new miniplit system, Jared, and Ductless Plus. My home is such of cool space aesthetically as it was before Jared appeared, but it is also now a cool place to be even when it’s hotter than hell outside. I recommend Ductless Pros unconditionally and with no hesitation, to anyone who is looking to have a minisplit system installed in their space, regardless of what that space is.

These guys showed up to my house and gave me the ultimate comfort when everyone else said it was impossible. Denver and Jared are absolutely the most knowledgeable contractors I have ever worked with. They cleaned, and left my house cleaner then it was when they showed up. Jared and his 3 other crew were probably the best guys we've ever hired ( and we've recently had a lot of home improvements done). Jared quickly responded to our initial phone call, he was extremely professional and knowledgeable. They showed up when they said they would, were great with communicating everything with us, respectful of our home, quiet while working, cleaned up daily including vacuuming, and personable. They also finished in the time frame that we were told up front. Couldn't have asked for a more smooth experience from start to finish. We are very impressed with the new efficient and quiet Rheem furnace and air conditioner as well as the ductless Mitsubishi system in our upstairs.
