Mel’s heating and air is very quick to get you an appointment, even last minute, they are very knowledgeable and get you the best deal on all equipment, the service is very thorough and all the staff from office to work he field is very nice to work with!! I would 100 percent recommend going with Mel’s!! I have been a customer for over a year now and they are always amazing!!!

A few years ago, Mel's installed our heating/air conditioning system at a reasonable price. (At the time, some of the quotes we had from other companies were ridiculously high.) Mel's services our system every year, and we've had no problems with it. Every summer, our electric bill is in a pretty good range, so the system seems to be conserving energy.

I called and spoke to Noel (i think) on 7-1-23, one of the first hot days in modesto this year. I explained that my AC was not blowing air and told him the conditions around furnace and condenser. Over the phone, He walked me through process to address problem saying he didn't want me to waste paying diagnostic fee since he would only be doing the same steps and waiting around. He promised he would come out next day if problem wasn't fixed. Guess what? I got a working AC thanks to Noel ! He could have easily taken my money or just given me an appointment out a week like other places but , no, he chose to help and it is greatly appreciated. I will definitely recommend Mel's and he's got a guaranteed customer.

My fan motor went out. I originally called Sawyer’s heating and air cause that’s who originally put the unit in. But it wasn’t under warranty anymore and the tech from Sawyer said he couldn’t fix and was more interested in selling me another unit. I wanted a second opinion and went with Mel’s and their tech was friendly and professional and was able to fix the issue right then and there. Needed 30 plus year old HVAC system replaced. We received quotes from 3 companies. There presentation and explanation of the equipment on the quote was outstanding. They went the extra mile on how I preferred the line set was installed,as well as covering the entire platform with sheet metal for extra protection. Received all paperwork for rebates immediately. We chose Mel’s Heat & Air to replace my moms old AC unit. They were the most professional and had the best pricing of the 3 bids we received. We are very pleased with their quality of work and mom is now resting comfortably with her new AC to help keep her cool just in time for the heat!

We had an emergency that our A/C was not starting. Mel's answered my call right away and was able to get our system working even though they were extremely busy. They are great and will do anything they can to help out and not overcharge you either.

The people who came to the house were very knowledgeable and professional people. The names of the people were Leo, Elroy, and Alex, and they were timely in completing the replacement and installation work and the final results of their work was of a decent quality. I would definitely recommend these people for other jobs in the future and I thank Mel’s Heating & Air for their time and work.

I have a 1 year old at home, and my HVAC system broke down a few days before a heat wave. Mel’s was very responsive and installed a brand new system before the weather spiked into the 100s. The new HVAC system works amazingly well! It cools much better than my old system!
