Mel's Heating & Air Corporation

I was told that I would be given a quote to replace my HVAC system on Monday July 18th. I was never given the quote and had to search out other companies to get the quote and replace the system. I was then billed many months later for the visit because the card reader wasn't working at the time, and it really didn't feel worth it because they didn't hold up their end of the agreement, but I paid because it was still their worker's time. Still though, I felt very let down.

Trust me. I’m not a review writer and I really had to. They are really good!

Noel was great. He was very knowledgeable and adjusted a setting on our unit and removed something insulation choking the blower, increasing the a/c air flow. He gave us some great advice and guidance on our system and possible upgrades. Noel was great, can't say enough about his honesty and friendliness.

Mel’s heat and air is an excellent company. If you use them to maintain your ac and heat if something goes awry they are at your place quickly and spend the time to fix a problem. Price point is more than fair.

Incredible service !! I called Mel’s on a Sunday and got a callback from Noel that day. Robert came out and did the diagnostic on Monday and ordered the parts. Michael came back on Tuesday and completed the job. Extremely impressed with the service and professionalism.

My air conditioner quit cooling on the hottest day of the year. I thought I had a big problem but Mel's came out and repaired it for me. It was such a relief when he got that air conditioner running so quickly.

A relative was referred to Mel's by a friend. Needless to say, we were very pleased. Literally called and the same day the technician showed up. Not only showed up, but actually checked out the system and didn't try to sell anything. Imagine that, not trying to sell "coils" or "condensers" or "vapor lock preventives".

When asked if he could install new air filters, he checked them out and said, "no need" because the filters were in good shape. Needless to say, this is a local business we will be telling people about. A+ service, professional, high quality, value for money, and honest.

If you don't use them, that's on you. But you will end up using them in the end, just after you have spent more money with some of these other shady companies who are only out to make a quick buck.

Seriously, use Mel's.

Another update: The heating unit would not work and it was January. Called Mel's and tech was there within an hour. Didn't try and sell a new system, just figured out what was wrong, and fixed it pronto.

And seriously, why aren't you using Mel's?

They have a reasonable maintenance plan and they let you pay on a monthly basis.

This company is top notch. They came to our residence when no other place could or had time. They came after working hours to inspect and diagnose our problems and then came back to do the repairs. They have been nothing but professional and efficient. I am so happy we are using them now as our primary AC company.
