Ideal Plumbing Heating Air Electrical

I called to have water shut off when my fridge sprang a leak and flooded my kitchen floor. Ideal was able to send a tech out right away. It was a quick job and they have a minimum service charge (totally fair) so the plumber offered to inspect the rest of my property. He didn't try to sell me, just educated me and I really appreciated the candid advice and reassurance that everything is in good shape. What a great company. Appreciate the integrity, the prompt service, and the professionalism of the representative I dealt with. Excellent company - I recommend them.

We have used Ideal Plumbing several times now, and have always been impressed with the quality of their service, and the knowledge and courtesy of their employees. Just last week we had a no-hot-water issue, caused by some other plumbers working on our bathroom remodel. Ideal had someone out to check it out within just a couple of hours. As usual, their service representatives were courteous and thorough, and we were back in business in no time. I totally recommend them!

I recently found myself needing to replace my HVAC system at my home. I called three companies to bid the job and did my due diligence research on the equipment each company was installing. By far Ideal plumbing was the most responsive and knowlegible on the subject. When I called with questions Cheryl was able to answer or get the answer and she wasn't reading off a script like one of the companies. Dan was my estimator and was very personable and custom built my unit to my very specicic needs. Phil and Catalino showed up when promised and both were very tollerant of my oversight and constant questions. They estimated 2.5 days and finished on schedule. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a high quality high performance HVAC system.

Ideal Plumbing recently replaced our obsolete and leaking water main. They initially set up temporary service to our house so we would not be without water. While they where replacing the main supply line. The workers were very neat and did not butcher the lawn even though they had to dig right through the middle of it. It's nice not having to clean up after a contractor. 5 stars to Joe V for his communication throughout the whole process.

We've used Ideal for a few plumbing jobs in the past and we have been very happy with the quality of work and our interactions with everyone at the company. So when my mom's AC went out we decided to call them. They went out of their way to fit us in. I don't trust other companies with my mom, I'm always worried they will take advantage of her and try and up-sell, or over charge. I don't have that concern with Ideal. They fixed her AC and treated her with respect. thanks!

On May 30 and 31, 2019, IDEAL Plumbing installed a YORK central air conditioning in our Clairemont home. The installation was accomplished by Phil and Renee (the new guy). All work was accomplished professionally and on schedule: Great job. I was present throughout the installation and was impressed with the quality of the work performed. The IDEAL installation team was well organized, well prepared and very attentive to the task. Phil's knowledge of air conditioning and system requirements was extremely impressive providing great confidence that our new air conditioning system will provide us many years of reliable service. A very sincere thank you to all those at IDEAL who worked with us on this project. Well done.

Dustin Teesma was a fantastic plumber. Not only did he resolve the problem I requested, but he volunteered to stay a few extra minutes to ensure that the problem was correctly solved. Most companies or plumbers would not do this. Plus his quality of work was superb. This is why we always call Ideal. They do excellent work and they are always diligent and professional. In addition to installing a brand new York 3 ton air conditioning and gas furnace, Ideal's installation crew had to remove the 45 year old systems and a lot of flexible duct in a tight attic. They did an amazing job start to finish. They showed up on time each day, and put runners down to keep rugs and floors clean in the house. They were quiet, respectful, and knew exactly what to do with almost no direction from the homeowner ( me). Part of the smoothness of the execution was due to the fact that the manager spent significant time studying the project prior to developing the quotation. Secondly, he came back and spent a significant amount of time with the field supervisor a few days prior to installation to develop a plan of attack including the major work phases, the order of execution, and time estimates for all tasks. It was a truly complex project beginning with the removal of the existing system followed by the installation of a complete new furnace / A/C system, new controls, new, and much larger condenser, new and much larger flexible ducts in the attic space, and all of the electrical and fluid circuits involved. Although Ideal fields a team that has done this type of work many times before, they do not skimp on the pre installation planning which makes the execution much more efficient. On top of that, they exhibited deep "on the fly" craftsmanship when changing the routing to the new, much larger 18" flex ducts in a very limited attic space, as well as connecting them to registers in 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a hallway. This included sealing all the connections to assure conditioned air is contained under pressure and insulated all the way from the air handler to the registers ...no leaks! The 4th day in the afternoon, right on schedule, they were testing the system operating performance, setting up the smart thermostat, replacing the attic access door, cleaning up and taking care of the many finishing details. Super craftsmanship, very quiet execution, no drama, no negative surprises, friendly respectful employees, all at a fair price with no overruns. 10 out of 10!!

Ideal Plumbing came out to fix a toilet that was not installed properly by a different company. The plumber was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and completed the work in an appropriate amount of time. He had to uninstall the toilet, repair the supply line and valve, reinstall the toilet properly, check everything, and clean up. Couldn't ask for a more professional job. Will definitely call Ideal Plumbing when I need more work done first.

I had a leak in my attic that was dripping through the ceiling. I called this morning at 8am and was given an appointment the same day. I got a call a while later that there was a cancellation and someone could come even earlier than originally scheduled, which was great.

Howard showed up and was awesome! He was able to locate the leak in the attic and fix it in no time. He then replaced our pressure regulator in the garage because it was bad and had been for a while (likely contributing to the leak). It wasn't the easiest job because of how the regulator was installed into the wall. But, he made it look easy and didn’t mind me hovering and asking questions.

He was done with everything in just over an hour. The price for everything was more than fair. I am so happy to have this leak behind us so quickly and feel great about that work that was done.

I would definitely recommend Ideal for anyone in need of their services.
