Paid 72 bucks for what I thought would be a tune up on my furnace. Told the gal on the phone scheduling the appt, I wasn't currently looking to replace it, just wanted the service as advertised. Service guy came out, wouldn't do service because he 'red flagged' it. Too old..like me... No batteries for the thermostat, not even a lollipop. zip, zero, nada!
U should b upfront to others beforehand, 72.00 for an estimate on a new furnace isn't right.
P.S. had another local heating contractor look at it, (free estimate).. half the cost to replace, than the estimate smart72 gave me...
