Had a great experience with North HVAC Services! Paul came out to perform a routine maintenance/tune-up on our AC unit. He thoroughly cleaned the unit, replaced filters etc. He also identified a part that was busted, and luckily was able to replace it.

Very glad we had North HVAC come out before the hot summer months when our AC unit surely would have malfunctioned or at the very least not run efficiently.

Paul was also very responsive and easy to work with throughout the process!

Chris and the whole North HVAC team were just amazing. We had them install a high quality heat pump for our home.

NORTH HVAC was great. They were very responsive and very reasonable. They are the perfect sized firm for our job - big enough to get the work done promptly but small enough to be personable and lower overhead than some of the bigger companies. Made an appointment for Chris to look at my home. He was prompt, and very knowledgeable. He sent me an estimate immediately with 2 options. So far, very impressive service.

Chris was prompt, thorough, and offered a variety of options to consider as we update our heating and explore cooling. We are looking forward to their proposal and I feel confident their work would be high quality.

My first time calling a repairman period, Chris made it nice and easy. My heater was making a loud rattling noise, made a single call and he was able to come by the very next week. Very responsive via text communication, went over the problem and exactly what he was doing as he was diagnosing and inspecting my unit’s heater. Very informative and hands on which I really appreciate. It ended up being a small issue, so he simply charged me a minimal diagnostic fee and recommended future options if any issues were arise in the future. I would highly recommend them.

Paul was on time and conducted a diagnosis of our 3 1/2 year old furnace that stopped working. North HVAC’s service call charge is about half of what the company who installed our system charges. (But that company wasn’t available for days.) He explained and pointed out a few things that should have been done by by the company who installed it. Although he didn’t replace anything or work on it, it started again when I tried it hours later after he left. We’re still waiting (beyond our 4-hour window) for the company who installed it and are hopefully going to address the issues he pointed out.

Honest. Candidly spoke about what they saw. Did not quote work order for the sake of work. Highly professional and thoughtful. This guys do the right thing and are running a solid business in Marin.

They did a full diagnosis of the existing/faulty furnace system and proposed the most complete solution with a top quality replacement furnace, and came in with the best pricing on top of all that compared to comparable vendors.
