The Service Technician, Miguel Mendez was on time, professional , courteous and engaging. He explained the diagnostic and repair process, thoroughly examined the HVAC equipment, and diagnosed the problem, which happened to be a damaged mother-board. He also did diagnostics on other elements of the basic system to determine if another component failure caused the mother-board to fail.
He promptly prepared an estimate for the cost of the repairs, and confirmed parts availability. He provided a copy of the estimate and was able to use my credit card to pay for the repair and order the necessary parts.
He was careful with my property and courteous. He explained the Annual contract for care and maintenance and the cost savings that program provided.
I could not have been happier with the service provided, and look forward to the same level of courtesy, professionalism and quality of work as the repairs are completed this week.
2. Repair Service Call ___________________
The Service Technician, Miguel Mendez was again on time, had the necessary parts for the repairs, and quickly installed the new Mother-Board, made the necessary repairs to damaged wires and installed new connection lugs.
He fired up the system and it responded to the thermostat providing cold air to the house. He cleared and disposed of all the protective wrapping from the new Mother-Board and wire debris from the repairs, turned off the attic lights and sealed the attic scuttle.
He then presented the invoice and processed the payment. He explained the savings advantages of the Comfort and Care program and the one year warranty on the parts (and labor) he had just installed.
Miguel is a credit to West Country HVAC, and provides the level of service and care that will bring me back again and again for service.

This company serviced our old rooftop heating and air conditioning unit, and we were very happy with their service until it finally came time to replace it. The new unit has been totally trouble free and we signed up for comfort club. They will come out twice a year to check your unit. I highly recommend them. They are professional, reliable and trustworthy.
My air conditioner is going out. I called 5 HVAC companies for estimates. I chose West Coast HVAC because of Miguel Mendez their sales representative. Since I’ve been in sales for over 40 years I believe that people buy people as much as they buy a particular product. Miguel is sincere, humble, honest and really cares about people. They even match the pricing and I’m just hoping that my installation goes as well as my initial meeting with Miguel.
I moved here from Newport Coast in December 2020and I’m really amazed how flaky people have been. People book appointments and they don’t show up or even call to cancel. I believe covid it is over and I think people should get back to living life and being productive that’s what the United States has been built on for for years Miguel is an asset to the Company and deserves a raise. It was a pleasure meeting Miguel and making a major investment.
June 4 is my installation date so I will write another review once it’s installed and hope to have the same kind of experience.
