We are first-time homeowners and therefore this was our first time having to replace an HVAC system. We had no idea what to expect in terms of pricing and workflow. Regardless we are satisfied with Adrian and the team. They worked three days straight to get our package unit installed properly and get it working. We were told we would not be required to be present for the duration of the project so we did not hesitate to schedule the install to be during the time we would be out of town. We had already rescheduled various times due to the availability of the crane so we just wanted to get any day that would work at this point. While we were out of town it was hard to stay in the loop during the duration of the project due to the time zone difference, but Adrian was able to make things work and get things done. I am giving 4 stars because my presence was actually needed for the duration of the project. There was some slight miscommunication which led to some stress during my trip. But kuddos to the team for being able to work with it and get the job done!

This company exists as a dichotomy- the actual, on-site service is fantastic; the process of getting scheduled was an absolute nightmare. I cannot speak highly enough of Nathan, the technician who came out to fix our thermostat. He was very knowledgeable, efficient, and communicative.

However, this is how getting the appointment happened:

-Called to schedule, got setup for 10am on a Thursday morning. Repeatedly was told that the new software they were using for scheduling was "terrible".
-At 11am, no one had arrived, so I called the office. They said there was a mistake, and someone would arrive at noon. I told them I had a dentist appointment at 1pm, and was told "oh, then we'll just push to the afternoon, call us when you're home." Seemed like a reasonable solution.
-Got home at 2pm, called the company. Was told that there was nothing in the system (which I was told again, was "terrible") and that we'd have to get rescheduled. During the process of rescheduling, it was clear that all of my information had been deleted, and we had to restart from scratch. Got scheduled for 11am Friday.
-At 4pm (still Thursday!) Nathan arrived. I asked about the appointment, he said on his end it showed as being Thursday. Ultimately fine, worked for me. Nathan was super helpful, said he'd be back Friday at our scheduled 11am time to fix the thermostat.
-Noon Friday roles around- no one has arrived. I call, get told there was a scheduling mishap again, and that Nathan will arrive around 5pm. We have plans at 630pm, but fine, can make it work.
-530pm roles around- Nathan calls, says that he got sent back to a previous job, won't arrive til 6pm, we have to reschedule to Saturday morning.
-Saturday afternoon roles around, we finally get our thermostat fix.

Nathan was great, but the runaround and inability to actually plan my own work around the scheduling times I was given was absolutely a massive headache.

They get it done! I love it. It's a good company.. I had the Great opportunity to work for them. Unfortunately I have to leave but take it from somebody that was on the inside, they are good people and they know their stuff. Great customer service I noticed everyone was happy to be at work. Their passionate about what they do. Blaine and Andrew are wonderful installers.

This company failed to respond to me for over two months about rescheduling a service that their team was unable to perform (AFTER WE PAID). The Job was bid wrong and then almost 3 month past of hounding them for a refund with no reply or resolution. This company once was great to work with, but whatever changed has them now spread too thin. There is zero accountability from the entire staff - from the manager, to the back office to the technicians.

I appreciate Adrian for going above and beyond to ensure my parents were warm when they could not figure out NEST thermostat! I appreciate Adriana’s kind voice, and professionalism as she followed up with me to ensure we received service as scheduled! I am very satisfied with Pacific Heating and Air!

Nightmare experience.
Horrible smell still coming out of our vents that they won’t fix.
Installed a huge pipe on our roof, after promising a duct system and without asking us. Multiple holes in our roof that weren’t sealed.
Installed a thermostat that was cheap yet we paid for the Nest. Finally gave us the Nest after we complained.
We opted for the highest quality filter, but no filter was installed for half of the house.
We paid nearly twenty three thousand dollars and the unit immediately leaked into our dining room ceiling from the first rain. Our ceiling has four feet of water stain that is likely molding, our table is stained from the leak, and no one will come out to address the issue.
Huge mess over three months of installation. And though you had to have the home cleaned multiple times from the mess, they only cleaned it once.
The most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with a company.

I had recently purchased a condo (first time) and was in the middle of the summer heatwave. Adrian came onsite to overview a few mini split quotes that our complex was considering at the time. Adrian overviewed my unit and noted that I was capable of doing something more than a mini split in my unit.

The initial process took a bit as I had to run everything by HOA, the team was there and waiting with any answers that I had to questions that were asked, or documents/specs that may be needed.

Adrian was very knowledge about the systems that were compatible with my unit, as well as how we could configure the unit to be tucked into the attic and hung onto our back wall (couldn’t do the floor since it’s an open alley and homeless people are an issue). There was a few delays with getting the product, which was communicated well by Adrian and his team, as well as a phone call was received by the owner.

Overall, Adrian and the team at Pacific Heating and Air were awesome! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to prepare for the next summer heatwave!

Adriana & Nathan are the best!!
Adriana is on top of scheduling and is very communicative with the appointments for tenants and with the property manager.
Nathan was very good at explaining the options for repairs and had some great recommendations for our AC system.

I requested an HVAC/furnace inspection and was booked for a visit two days later. On the day of my appointment, the office called and said that "a technician called out," requesting to postpone my appointment until the next day. I agreed, but the office again called me the following day -- ten minutes after my scheduled appointment time and obvious technician no-show -- to tell me that there was "no way" a technician could "pick up" my job. After taking two afternoons off from my work to address this problem, I was understandably disappointed and asked what the office agent meant by "pick up" my job, as I believed that I held a firm appointment time. The agent proceeded to lecture me about ethics and tell me how important it is that the company prioritizes elderly customers and other more-emergent jobs. While I would agree that elderly customers and emergencies deserve the highest priorities, it became apparent, when pressed, that the agent had no idea regarding the nature or scope of my particular job/problem or understood the ethical consequences of me canceling two afternoons of work in a healthcare clinic. Unprofessional and unreliable - I do not recommend this company.

We've used Pacific heating and air quite a few times now. They are always on time and can be at your house at a moment's notice. They have great maintenance packages that you can purchase as well and they call to set up the appointments themselves your heating and air conditioning maintenance. Nathan and Alex are both great technicians.
