This place scammed us into getting their membership and then over charged us. They were suppose to send my husband and I a check for the amount we were over charged for an it’s been months now. We have called to receive that money 3 times already and each time they are super unprofessional on the phone and say they will send it out and still nothing. This company is trash. There are far better, more professional ones to go to. Do not waste your time!!
I called every HVAC contractor in San Diego for a verbal quote. This is the only company transparent enough to give a ball park estimate for a simple capacitor replacement. I highly recommend this company as the majority most companies tried to upsqle a new furnace this company offered to replace the next day and to run through the unit to ensure everything was working properly. All for a fair price. This is the only company I would recommend as all the others are trying to force new units on people rather then fix and repair perfectly good units.

Richard just came out to troubleshoot a sticky issue we've been having with our Fujitsu wall-mounted air-conditioner --- and, wow, did he do a great job! There was a subtle leak of coolant, and after looking and verifying everything was okay within the condenser unit itself, Richard removed the vertical housing that contained the piping that feeds the condenser and discovered the leak. Amazing! He did what needs doing and now we should be good, hopefully, out to infinity and beyond! Thanks, Richard, and thank you, Nick, for recognizing and hiring competent people!
I was quoted a fee of $89.99 to assess my ac unit. I coordinated a service visit but was not provided a definitive appointment time, only a 3 hour window. On the morning of the visit I received a call from the scheduler who informed me the price for a downtown service call is $125 not $89.99. I let her know that we needed to stick to the initial quote and she reluctantly agreed. My service window came and went and I never received a call or message that the technician was not going to make it. it's now a day later and i still haven't heard boo from the company. What a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
I've been trying to find a reputable HVAC company in San Diego and have had three terrible experiences in a row. I'm beginning to think the entire industry is a sham. I've already had one company provide a quote so i know what is wrong with my ac (stuck contactor). This is a simple fix. It is my belief that Pacific Heating and Air thinks that i'm too informed of a consumer so they can't take advantage of me, and therefore they just completely blew off my scheduled appointment. I would stay away from these guys. They are looking to get over on you.
Consider this fair warning. This is no way to run a business.
Nick came out to give me a second opinion on issues I was having with my AC that the company that installed could not figure out what was wrong. Nick diagnosed the problem right away, and instead of bad mouthing the other company, he chose to call the owner and speak directly to him to give him the opportunity to correct the problem (as it was with worksmanship, not mechanical). The owner of the other company authorized Nick and his guys to do the repair at no cost to me. I cannot begin to tell you what great customer service that is. The issue has been corrected and Pacific Heating and Air has gained a customer for life.
They’re great! I’m glad I have a good service that I can trust to keep my ac unit going. It was an expensive luxury and it’s important that the people that service it know what they’re doing. I’m selling my home, and I feel confident that the new homeowner will have a great unit. It’s 5 years old but still runs like it’s brand new thanks to Pacific Heating and AC!
Call multiple air conditioning companies and asked a lot of questions. I was under a time crunch and needed my furnace replaced and AC unit installed before I left on vacation. After my second conversation with Nick, I felt confident that pacific heating and air could get this work completed in a timely manner. They were very clean and considerate of the furniture in my home. The two gentlemen that installed the furnace and air conditioning unit were very organized and work fast. I really wanted to write this review because Martin and Jose even went outside the scope their work and found issues with the ducting in my master bedroom. They were even able to make some improvements on the way the air is distributed throughout my home. Thank you guys!!!
Both technicians, Andy Allen and Bob Langford, were punctual and very courteous. Andy explained all the work that was going to get performed and both techs began working, they were efficient with the time slotted and replaced the furnace in a reasonable amount of time. Both Andy and Bob were amazing in performing their task and answered all my questions upon completion. Thank you again for the amazing service.
