Basic Air

Basic Air was anything but! They removed and replaced my HVAC system, updated the in-room registers and added all new ducting. In addition, they fixed a bunch of mistakes my previous installation had made, taking the time to upgrade my electrical panel to properly support the unit, applying sealant to areas that had not previously had it (how did the previous guy miss that?), and even fixing a leak that had developed in my roof from the shoddy work of the earlier install. The crew showed up on time, did the work well, and was very professional. The price was perfect, and the service quality was even better.

Vik and Hozanna Megerdichian were phenomenal to work with. We had numerous delays due to conflicts with overlapping construction with our pool remodel. Throughout the process, Vik and Hozanna were very accommodating and easy to work with. Their team began with asbestos abatement; however, we had to reschedule numerous times. When it was time for our installation, the Basic Air team explained the steps as they went to work. They were very professional, courteous and helpful. They knocked out the install in two days, despite our tight attic and furnace space. They had to remove the casing and door. In the course of putting things back together, nicks and gouges were inevitable, as was a minor crack in the hallway ceiling. I advised Vik and he took care of it as soon as possible by sending his drywall repairman, Albert. Everything was taken care of by Vik and Hozanna. It was refreshing to have a family run business do what they say they will do and follow through. I had no worries at all dealing with Vik and Hozanna, and their awesome team. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BASIC AIR! THANK YOU.

UPDATE- On 4/3/22, SC Edison's transformer had blown, causing our AC equipment to burn out. I called Vik on 4/4 and in 2 hours, Ryan from Basic Air showed up to troubleshoot the problem. The transformer, thermostat, motherboard and internal fan were burnt out. Ryan buttoned everything up and said he would come back once the parts could be ordered, which he warned us could take a few days dur to availability. The next day on 4/5, to our surprise, Tonya from Basic Air called and said Ryan was on his way with the parts. Ryan repaired or replaced all of the parts required and tested our system. Everything was back in good working order! We could not have been more pleased with Vik, Ryan, Abe and Tonya's assistance and professionalism in getting our system operational in such record time. Basic Air is outstanding, I don't believe we would have received such great service anywhere else. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, BASIC AIR!

We used Basic Air a few years ago to install our HVAC System in our home and the process and installation was smooth and seamless. Since then, we have used Basic Air to perform our regular maintenance and most recently, we had them install a new wifi-enabled thermostat, which is a huge help for a family on the go.

We have been very pleased with the company's willingness to answer questions over the phone and to prioritize residential work, especially in the summer.

We had Abraham, Vik and their team install AC to our home about 7 years ago and we still love our system! We get annual maintenance on our unit and every time we schedule with Tanya she is so organized. Thanks Basic Air for making this part of our home so awesome!

Had these company fix my air conditioning the employees couldn't fix the problem and didn't have an explanation of why and how to fix it. But where insisting I replaced the intire equipment. Had other company come out and check it out and fix the issue which was a capacitor it took about an hour to repair only few hundred and not a few thousands for system that i didn't need. Those guys just pushing sales

I am truly blown away by the level of professionalism and care presented by the guys here at basic. After calling quite a few different businesses to try to fix the air conditioning in my house in Trabuco Canyon, I came across basic air and had a pleasant phone call with Abraham and set up an appointment for the following business day which was this past Monday. They showed up to my house exactly at the time the appointment was which is a nice refresher from previous services I tried to get from other businesses. The level of work was top notch and the pricing was more than fair. Like I said before I am completely astonished at how great my experience was. I am a straight shooter and I have to say that they were as well and exceeded my expectations. I have already set up another appointment for my business's Air conditioning unit. Abraham was referred to us by our neighbor who used him like ten years ago and to this day still remembered all of the team members names and went on and ON and ON about their ethics and quality of work. What she was describing was hard to believe.... until we met Abraham and his son Vic. They are top notch professionals. They show up on time, they provide professional photos of their previous work so we felt so comfortable with what they were describing to us about all of the work needed to be done. Their prices are fair and extremely reasonable for the amount of work involved. They showed up the first day with an army of pros. They masked our house off and were so respectful and quite as we are working from home. What is amazing to me is how each person did their part. We were blown away they showed up right at 8:00am- and by 9:00am they had SO much work done!!! They worked tirelessly until the entire job was done in one day. They went above and so far beyond our expectations I wish I would have known about them years ago. We put off getting an AC installed and replacing our furnace because it was "a lot of work" and we just didn't know anyone who made us feel comfortable enough to drop thousands of dollars and put it in right. Now we are SO excited to tell all of our neighbors about Basic Air. When they finished the entire job in one day... which I was never expecting I would have been fine with a few days... but because of the entire experience and how easy it was and how great of a job they did... I cried. Years of being SO HOT in this house with no AC and BAMMMMM- they had it all finished. Wow. They installed a gorgeous SMART Nest thermostat in our home and Ryan spent as long as needed helping my husband and I figure it out and set it up to our phones. This crew of over 8 guys also left our home SO clean! You would think that many people in and out would be a huge mess- that's what we thought and working from home I was so nervous of all the disruption... NOPE. They put down tarps with rubber backs so they don't move and it kept all of the dirt and mess out of our home. They vacuumed all throughout the job and when they left we were 100% at peace and shocked! Please call Abraham and the same feeling you can share with your family. We will always consider these guys friends and family. We would do anything for them. They have NO competition- trust me we called so many places over the years - do not waste your time. Call Abraham and get the AC installed, fixed, finished whatever is needed he can do it and make it easy. Don't waste any more time! Get the work done right! Be comfortable this summer in your house with a brand new AC or have him fix the one you have! Call them!

This company was terrific to work with. Vik is wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable in all areas of Heating & A/C and he will respond back in a very timely matter.
