I had a split unit go bad and called H&K. They were on time and very professional. They filled with Freon and dye and found a week later the leak in the outside unit. I had to also replace the 3 head units. They ordered the unit and when it came in, they got it installed in one day. I'm impressed that they sent 3 trucks and 5 tech's to do the job. They had to cut sheetrock and replumb to make it fit. This made a mess which they cleaned up and vacuumed. Also did good job cutting sheetrock for easy caulk and paint.
As far as price, I didn't get a second estimate. But everything seems pricey in today's world. It's hard to put a price on a good job. Spencer was the lead tech from start to finish. He was accurate in his estimate and didn't try to BS me.
The new units (lg) are nice and quiet. They are replacing Friedrich unit that lasted 8 years. Glad to get rid of the Friedrich.

Excellent customer service. When my unit stopped working I called multiple companies who all told me they would TRY to get to me tomorrow or in one case 3 to 5 days. I when I contacted H&K they said they were sorry but they couldn't be there for a few HOURS. When Joey arrived about 2 hours later he was able to fix my unit with a part that he had on his truck. My house was back to a comfortable 72 degrees within a few hours of calling instead of a few days. Now I only make one call anytime I have an issue and know that I will get the best service available.

Based on Cost, Friendliness, and quickness I give it a 5. Worked long hours to meet their own deadline and didn't raise the price beyond initial quote. Only drawback was the finishing touches, left a little to be desired. Would totally recommend and would use again if needed. Great guys that worked my job!

H&K Heating and Air is beyond amazing! They always come out when scheduled, and take time to look at the situation, then repair the issue in a timely manner. They are extremely professional and have NEVER charged me for anything over the repair they quoted me for. I can’t say enough positive things about these guys. I’ve had several repairs on an ancient system that everyone else said needed to be replaced. They always give that estimate for the replacement but they’ve also offered a repair at every service with my 20+ year old off brand ac unit. I’m convinced these guys can repair/replace anything HVAC related.

The gentleman who came and diagnosed the issue was nice enough, but when trying to get in contact with these people its like pulling teeth. The number they were texting me on, I asked if they could quote me the price and I ended up having to call the next day due to no response. The lady I got in contact with was driving so I was totally understanding when she said she would have to call me back, but then she didn't, I got a text from the servicer. Also asked in text if they could move the scheduled time from end of the week to asap and I was told they would contact me Monday. No calls. I'm switching companies due to poor response times/no response.
Edit: the new company found out that they overloaded my unit with Freon and noticed my ceiling air filter was needing to be changed. Good thing because I dont have a step ladder yet.

Our large cooling system was not keeping up and the house was getting very warm. They came out and checked the entire system to ensure everything was working as it should. They recharged the system and we had air again. 2 days later, same issue. They came back quickly and determined there was a leak. Recharged the system again and came back the following day to inject a tracer dye to look for the leak. 2 days later, no cool air. They came back and found that the main coil in the air handler was leaking. (This was 6 pm on a Friday). They charged the system again to keep us as cool as possible for the weekend. They were able to get a replacement coil, and came and replaced it. They handled the warranty claim for us. The final charge was for the labor to replace the coil. Very professional, explained things clearly and made sure we were as comfortable as possible during the issue.

Jeff was amazing! We called because our AC was leaking into our ceiling on a Sunday and he got out to us within hours and was patient enough to return when my husband took the only set of keys for our car in the garage. He was professional, kind, and friendly. I'll be returning should we have any other issues!
