UPDATE: I understand that the individual responsible for my issues is no longer with the company. I just used them today and the new owner, Nick, went out of his way to ensure everything was satisfactory. So, I am upping my rating from 2 up to 5. PREVIOUS: The reason for my low rating is not for the quality of service as I have always been impressed and trusted it over 10 years. It is with their business practice as they fraudulently charged me twice for the same repair using my credit card number that they were not authorized to store. It took 3 weeks to get this resolved and I dealt with voicemails that were not returned and a locked door during posted open business hours. This is sad as this is a company that I had learned to trust and had relied on. They did apologize and said it would not happen again. I recommend doing any business with them by check rather than credit/debit cards.

We had them out on the 27th of July, our unit has constantly been running since July 22nd it’s stuck on, our home owners warrentt is who sent them out here becasue our into is stuck on. They came out said two things need to be replaced they said they would order the parts and should be in by the next week. My husband called them last week and they said well the warranty compnany needs to find out if your unit is still under warranty, so he called the warrentt company and they said no it’s Gilbert Airs responsibility to check that, they contacted Gilbert Air and Gilbert air told them they would get the part and come the next week on Tuesday, we’ll here were again no call no nothing, warranty company can’t eveb get them to answer there calls or get a call back. My unit has been continuously running for 5 weeks now, so who’s gonna be responsible for my outrageous electric bill? And when will my unit be fixed. You have BBB on your invoices but your customer services sucks. I will never recommend Gilbert Air

Honestly, you need to have a talk with your technicians about driving safety. One of your vans almost hit my car because they were driving about 60mph in a construction zone as they swerved over two lanes on Gilbert Rd to beat me to the spot before the lane merges. I understand the services you provide is important especially during this time of the year but air conditioning is not worth anyone’s life. I’ve never used your AC company before and I don’t plan to use your company moving forward. I have a license plate number if you’re interested.

Gilbert air did an aweful job on installing a new ac unit on my roof. The replacement was covered under my home insurance plan. When it got cold, the heat did not turn on. I had another company come out to find out the gas line was even hooked up for heat and the base they built for the ac unit was crooked by 6-8 inches. On top of that, their customer service and communication was sub par. Beware using this company.

Terrible customer service. They came out to diagnose the issue, then said it would cost a certain amount. They said they had to order a compressor for the unit and it would take several days to get in. Tried to call them 4 days straight (left a message since they don't answer the phone during business hours later in the day) saying I needed to pay them and to please contact me so I could pay them. They wouldn't even schedule the appointment till the bill was paid. They called my property manager and told him that they would schedule for the next day once the bill was paid. I called them 10 minutes later and paid the bill. They scheduled for 2 days later instead of the one day they told my property manager. Took them over 10 hours on Wednesday to fix the unit, but it wasn't completed that day. They came out Thursday to "finish" the job. Once done the technician left, the unit only worked for about an hour. Turns out the first technician was inexperienced and burnt out the new compressor they had just put in. Once they figured out they burnt out the compressor they miraculously found one in their warehouse to put in the next day (remember had to order one the first time). All told it took over 11 days to complete a service that should have been done in less than 3. I had to pay $50 a day to my tenants because they were displaced. When I tried to get in touch with them it took me 4 days to get them when they would answer the phone so I could pay them so they'd schedule the service, then I had another 3 days because they couldn't fix it right the first time. By my math they owe me $350...

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
I called Gilbert Air to fix our Air Conditioning on June 6th 2016. They came out the next day, the technician said we needed new coils, our AC is 2 years old. It took until the 21st of June to get the coils. Average temperature was 110! They charged me for the repair on the 9th of June, $769.60. They came out on the 22nd of June to replace coils and get air working. The tech proceeded to break several things in the process of replacing the coils. He then told us we needed a whole new system, our system is 2 years old! He said it would cost us $1100.00 to have it put in because Trane would give us a new unit, so we would pay for Labor only???
That is crazy, they broke the unit, only the coils were damaged to start with and now we need a whole new system???
Finally on the 28th of June we called another company. This company came out and fixed our Air in about two hours. They said Gilbert Air had done much damage while replacing the coils. This new company fixed what Gilbert Air broke. They also said that we ABSOLUTELY DID NOT need a new system. This new company charged us only $517.00!
We went three weeks with NO AC in Arizona, thank you Gilbert Air.
I have asked Gilbert Air to return our money, they have refused.

My A/C unit went out on a Saturday afternoon. I contacted Gilbert Air with the assumption that I'd have to endure an uncomfortable weekend and wait until Monday for servicing. They arrived on time and understood the urgency in getting my A/C unit fixed. Frank and team quickly determined the problem and presented a resolution within a matter of hours. They were relentless and did not leave until I was up and running again, which was a great relief and pleasant surprise. He could have told me that it would have to wait until Monday, but instead worked until the early evening hours on a Saturday. Three words to describe this company: Fair, Reasonable and Reliable. Great company to work with. Thanks Frank!

Due to horrendous unforseen circumstances Nick the owner of Gilbert Air lost his life. Google it.

His business no longer exists, the new owners changed the name yet use the same phone number. I located a local family owned company that actually has similar ethics & business practices Nick's Gilbert Airs business portrayed. Good luck

Professional, competent. and efficient Gilbert Air is all of that and more.
Maintaining and keeping our AC and Heating System in top condition for over 10 years now. But what impresses me most is how polite and friendly Robert and all the staff are. I highly recommend Gilbert Air.
