Douglas Cooling and Heating

Jonathan was my technician that came out today to replace what I thought was a bad ignitor on my gas fireplace. He was quickly able to identify that the ignitor was fine that I just needed some general/preventative maintenance done and my fireplace is now working. Besides just fixing the problem, he took the time to explain to me what went wrong and he kept me informed on what he was doing the entire time. I've got to say that he is one of the most friendly and professional technicians I have ever worked with from any company hands down. I'm extremely satisfied with his help today and with Douglas Cooling and Heating as a whole. Every company that works with the public needs to have several Jonathans! Douglas Cooling and Heating will definitely have all my future business. Thank you Jonathan for your superior work and thank you Douglas Cooling and Heating for exceeding my expectations!

Our AC died overnight Thursday. Caleb came out Friday, and sure enough it was time to replace the entire system. Two teams came back Monday with a new unit at noon and were gone by 6PM!! Very clean and professional! No mess! Absolutely the best HVAC experience we have had.

Delivers on their word! I called to get a custom chimney chase cover made because they (Douglas) showed up on a Google search. They called me back within hours, took my dimensions, and told me it would be ready by the next day. Guess what? It actually was. Very reasonably priced and they called me to let me know it was ready to pick up. Basically, my review is, Douglas does what they say they are going to with no suprises, which is rare these days. I highly recommend them if that is the kind of service that you're looking for.

I called Douglas after hours when we walked in our house and the temperature in our home was over 90 degrees. Even though it was after hours they quickly dispatched a serviceman and Jonathon promptly arrived. He was pleasant, had a good attitude and seemed to be very efficient. He quickly got our system up and running.

Charles came out and helped with my outdoor gas fireplace. Very professional, helpful, and on time. I will use them again.

We have a Trane AC unit and honestly, I have been negligent with getting it cleaned and checked out regularly. We called Douglas because we had used them before and been pleased with their work. The technician they sent to our house was Richey... he was extremely knowledgeable, polite, professional and thorough. The outside AC unit was extremely dirty, but Richey didn’t stop until he had it clean! It looked like a new unit! Thanks Richey! We heartily recommend Douglas for all your HVAC needs!

Update: Had to call Douglas the next day; the outside unit was still having issues coming on. Richey came back out and quickly found the fan was bad. Same friendly, professional service - and I would give them 5 stars all over again. Highly recommend! Thanks Douglas!

I called Douglas Cooling and Heating late yesterday afternoon. They were able to send a tech by morning! I wasn't expecting such fast survice b/c we're in a heat wave. The tech, Colby, is experienced and personable. He explained what he was doing throughout the process. Colby made sure both systems were operating properly before he left. He explained what preventative maintenance I needed in the future and set me up with a plan. I felt like Colby took care of me like he would a family member. Great guy! Great service!

Called at 11:30 pm with AC failure. Answering service was very pleasant and advised that office would contact the following morning. I was contacted 3 minutes after the business opened and was scheduled a service time. The service technician (Colby) was on time, kind, considerate of my home (used shoe cover-ups) and honest. I will be a Douglas Cooling customer from now on!

Jonathan was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend him. He is the only one I’ve ever worked with at the company. I would call Douglas Heating and Cooling again for repairs.

My experience with Richey was great once he got there. Apparently, his GPS sent him to the wrong address, which happens. He was knowledgeable and very personable. It's my first experience using Douglas, and I'm very pleased. Even speaking with Sarah on the phone was very pleasant. Thank you. :)
