Use Rollins A/C service at your own peril, called, asked them to come out to fix my air conditioner, their "technician" (grandson of owner) , said it just needed a recharge, put 3lbs of freon in it, charged us $30 per pound + $95 service call, was here for about 20 minutes, told us to have a nice day and to call again if we had any more problems. A/C worked for approximately 36 hours, and promptly quit and returned to the previous state (broken). Called back, was told they would be happy to come back out and charge us another $95 bucks + any more freon etc..., I called back to discuss the confusion, was told to "go to hell" by Mr. Rollins himself, and was hung up on. Now I know this happens to many people around the world everyday and me and my family are nothing special but I just have to point this out as a glaring example, I just retired from the U.S. Army after 20+ years, held a combat MOS the entire time, served in 3 separate wars, and 6 12 month combat deployments, with the last one being 18 months, and I really thought that I would return to a grateful nation, I'm not trying to say we are better than any other proud American, but, I would have at the very least, expected not to be treated as a 3rd class citizen. Nobody deserves to be treated this way, and maybe $200 dollars is not very much money to some people, but it is to us. I am sure my brothers and sisters in arms can agree with me on that point. Sorry for the rant, but I just needed to say something to someone and maybe at least warn some good people before it happens to them.
