Amazing place to get started if you are looking to become an HVAC contractor.
Brian and Kathy are passionate and amazing teachers. They offer a 16 week night class and a 2 week Mon-Fri class. Highly recommend taking the 2 week class if you can.
They will make every effort to work with you and make sure you get the best possible training.
This is a fantastic class for anybody looking to pursue a future in the HVAC industry. Btrained does an excellent job teaching each subject then applying all of that information in the lab. Everybody gets plenty of hands on time and the equipment and tools available to learn with are all top notch! No corners are cut with this class and I personally benefited significantly from it.
If you’re planning to get your HVAC License & you don’t want to retake the test “over and over”. I’ve had co-workers that has failed 3 times, before passing. I would HIGHLY recommend you take this seminar. If you will FOLLOW Brian & Kathy’s instructions. I believe you’ll have a 99% chance of passing the exam. It’s well worth the money. Thanks, David Robertson
If I had to choose one word to sum up this course, it would have to be quality. Quality education, quality instructors, quality equipment, etc. The head instructor, Brian, has been in the residential/commercial air conditioning field for 40 plus years. He always sought the next opportunity to educate himself in all aspects of this industry, and it is obvious. His wife, Kathy, retired from the Regulatory Board for HVAC Contractors after 20 years. They are both very well versed and will prepare you to have a successful career. If you bring the initiative to learn, you will.
I am so happy that I came across this course. I learned how to properly troubleshoot an air conditioning system and how to logically think through the process to pinpoint a problem without wasting time diving down rabbit holes. You will first learn the concept in the classroom, and immediately go to the lab and test that concept with your hands. There are four fully functioning air conditioning systems that you will alter and repair in order to make those concepts stick. And it works.
I am a licensed civil engineer. I have seen a lot of professors throughout my education. I can confidently say that Brian is the best instructor that I have ever had. He has a distinct ability to communicate with people and he knows his trade. He will make certain that you grasp each concept. Everything circles back around like an electrical circuit (which you will learn also), so the concepts will be hammered in by the end of this course. And then it’s time to go to work.
Great class and incredible teachers. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get into the HVAC field or for technicians already in the field looking for a refresher class and to better understand their line of work.
Btrained was an excellent experience! I can’t say enough about how much they have helped me advance my trade and career. If you’re on the fence about going … DO IT! One of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time.
I did the two week express class and was very pleased with it. It was a lot of information to take in, but Brian did a great job breaking everything down. I would highly recommend the class to anyone.
Very knowledgeable man, who is spot on with this training class! Had me looking forward to class each week, very hands on type of learning experience with the best explanations and guidance.
