Annette Hale's Indoor Comfort Systems

I will first like to caveat my rating by saying we have not had the best experiences with our builder or their subs. So on yesterday when our A/C unit stop blowing cool air, we realized the unit fan wasn't spinning, and that the unit was tripping the breaker. I immediately wanted to call anyone but the company who installed it. But my husband insisted that we call Indoor Comfort. First, I was surprised that they made a same day appointment. But when the service technicians arrived, the first thing they noted was that my main floor unit was wrongfully wired to the 20v breaker and the smaller unit was wired to the 30v breaker. The technicians apologized and stated they are surprised our unit lasted this long. Oh I forgot to mention we have been in our home 3 yrs already. Now, the first thing I took note of and appreciated was their honesty and owning a mistake that their company made. They could've easily replaced the capacitor, went on their way and waited for the unit to go out again in another year or two and have to come back and collect another check. And to top it off, they refused to charge us for the visit and repair. Hats off to Ronnie and Spencer for a job well done and changing the narrative I had regarding Indoor Comfort.

Preston did a great job of letting us know when he was on his way, then explaining the issue after he quickly found it (capacitor). The company did a good job of getting us an appointment after I left a message. My only complaint is that I called and left a message on the emergency extension on a Saturday for our outage and I never received a response on that. Otherwise, we've used ICS multiple times and have never had an issue with their service.

Earnest from Annette Hales hearing and cooling arrived on time was professional and did a wonderful job explaining the issue we were having. He took his time to ensure everything was working properly and that we understood the service issue. We love using this company as they are always able to schedule us timely and all of the staff are professional and kind. We definitely recommend using them.

Preston explained and demonstrated how the controls work when he was here Tuesday, I woke up Thursday morning and found the house warm . Blank screen on the thermostat. I pressed buttons as I understood the explanation. Nothing happened, nothing changed. Are there batteries in the thermostat to be changed?

Flash forward: second visit. there was a broken part in the unit and wires broken in the thermostat. Preston patched up the thermostat temporarily while waiting for new part.

June 22 he returned with the new part and a new thermostat. End result: A/C back working. New thermostat installed. As I have no set secheule, there was no need for a programmable thermostat. I’m happy to say I’m now the proud owner of a PhD thermostat (no insult intended toward family, friends, and other higher degrees), AKA “Push Here Dummy”. Push here for heat, push here for cool. The service technician, Ron Goodlow, came to do Spring system maintenance on my HVAC they installed several years ago. He was professional and took his time to check out the inside and outside components. He found an outside part was not working efficiently, and he had the part, so I said to go ahead and replace it.
