I lovw this place and employees are very helpful and seem to be happy to see me everytime i walk in. I build utility trailers and this store is a one stop shop for me and my business, well everything except the steel and lumber for the frames and floors, and their prices have definately allowed me to keep my prices the same even with the other materials prices higher than ever. Id trade TSC and HF both for one Northern Tool store anyday.

The northern Tool store in Hoover, Al. is a great place to purchase from. They have always had a variety of products that I like to browse through and I can always find what I need or they will order it. Very friendly atmosphere.

First time walking into a Northern Tool store. I went there to purchase a blower fan for a wet floor. Web site said in stock, store said seasonal and would have to order. Ok, so I ordered this and to save shipping had it shipped to store. This took 2 days shy of 2 weeks. I now understand why there parking lot is always empty, and Harbor Freight is always full. Clean store, terrible service, and not impressed with employees either in store or in customer service. I will say, it seems more about company procedures than employee's fault.

I selected a few items, took them to the register, handed over my credit card, and was asked for my phone number. I declined to provide my phone number but the clerk insisted. I told him to use the store number or a made up number but he told me that he would get in trouble for that. I left without the merchandize and have not, will not go back.
I might have given them my phone number if it weren't for all those robo calls and if I had gotten something in return but I don't like getting pressed for it.
