Great products and availability. Only complaint is I went into the store twice to try and order parts from the parts counter. The first time I waited for 10 mins for someone to finally tell me that the parts guy was on lunch. I didn't have time to wait so I came back a couple days later. Tried again to get some assistance for another 10 mins only to then be told that that location didn't even have a parts counter person. This was the same guy that told me the parts guy was on lunch two days before.

3.5 stars if I could. It took a week longer than what they quoted me and the mechanic never called back when he said he would. but I am very satisfied with the way they handled the situation they waived the fee and said they wanted me to be satisfied and the mechanic did a awesome job fixing my go kart. I will take the extra time any day if my equipment gets fixed properly and the store stands behind their work. With all that said I appreciate the management looking for costumer satisfaction and appreciate the way they handled the situation thanks

Friendly staff, honors price matching, offers military discounts, and has hard-to-find items that Lowes, Home Depot, nor HF even have in stock. Also nice to be able to walk in and grab what you need quickly since its a smaller store and parking is always convenient!

I normally have a great experience in the store, but not today. I was ready to spend some money on some equipment and asked it they had a certain item and was kinda blown off. Sad thing was there were maybe 3 cards in parking lot so they weren't very busy. I asked another person for some help and I waited while they assisted another customer. They never returned to help me, I saw the customer they were assisting leave the store.

The cashier was indifferent! She was helpful, but she made us feel like we were bothering her. Never once did this young lady ever smile or thank us for our purchase. It was clear she does not appreciate having a job!

I tried relying on Northern for my Auto Shop specialty tools once. It resulted in me ordering a 22 Ton hydraulic floor jack, waiting a week to get it, going to the store and picking it up, bringing it home and assembling it to find out that it doesn't hold air. Nobody seemed very concerned that we were gonna put a lot of weight on a jack that was obviously defective. Wish that were it. I called the store and told them the story and that I just wanted to return it. Employee said "sure, I'll let a manager know you're coming". I get there, and was told that I needed an online return code. The online store was closed, go figure. It's almost like I called before I drove down there to save a potentially wasted trip. Trip number 3, it was finally returned. 3 trips for a defective and unsafe product and I was treated like I was the one not following process? Someone should start a parts store called Southern Tool and they make good products that are safe and dependable and when someone calls before they drive there for a return, employees that will help ensure times not wasted. This will be the last business exchange with Northern Tool, I just don't have time to run around all day due to defective products from the box.

Great customer service! I had ordered some tool chest online through Amazon and when they arrived they were banged up pretty bad. I had not noticed they originally shipped from northern tool. I figured it easiest to return them to our local store and get a refund or swap out for new ones. The store manager Ben was so polite and had a no questions asked attitude which I appreciated.
