Short story: They been my go-to company for furnace and AC checks and maintenance for ~12 years. I've recommended them to friends and family. This week they installed a new furnace and I'm very happy with it!
Slightly longer story: This was the first HVAC company I called when I bought my house. I had heard that you're supposed to have your furnace and AC checked (news to me at the time). Mack scheduled me within a week, walked me through what he was doing, and what to look for to catch problems before they're expensive.
My furnace lasted 24 years (15-20 is normal) and probably could have lasted another. It was acting weird so I called and Mack gave me a few things to check on my own and said if that didn't work to call back, which I did. He came by and looked at it, explained what was wrong and that it might make it through the season. We chatted a bit and I decided to replace it. He quoted me a very good price and he and his son were back two days later to install the new one.
Install took 3-4 hours (exactly what was estimated). The new furnace is great. Slightly more robust (more heating and blowing power, and physically smaller than the old one). Everything related to the install was excellent. They added a vent in our basement near the laundry too. We're very happy with our new furnace and highly recommend Seasonal Survival.

I had our usual company come out for a spring check and they found that all the Freon had leaked out of my system in the 8ish months since I'd turned it off. This was the second time in 8 years so they suggested I replace the whole system. They said the repair would run me over $2000, and, considering the past issues, it could easily happen again four years from now. I called Seasonal Survival for a second opinion. He was so upset that my company didn't even do a leak check (which they suggested would be costly), he came and did one free in a matter of 15 minutes. After that, I scheduled him to do the repair ASAP. Again, my previous company suggested that the Freon refill alone would be $1500 or more. Mack replaced the evaporator coil, refilled the system with Puron, and even cleaned the condenser outside simply to make sure his readings were as accurate as possible, all for less than $900. He's friendly and up front. No BS.

I very much regret every using this company. we chose them off Angies list. We also went with them because they had cheaper quote. Now have been suffering huge hassle and expenses. every since they were installed they always break down every winter. I initially had seasons survival come back and they would trouble shoot, and get the furnace back on. after the 3rd time this happened I decided to have another company come and evaluate, and the new company ( we have now had 3-4 different HVAC companies out to our house) ALL say the furnaces were installed wrong and that was a big obvious blunder. Seasons survival installed two new furnaces in our home, to the WRONG factory/manual specifications resulting in a inefficient, and frequently breaking, and dangerous heating system. Seasonal Survival 1. chose the wrong type and size furnaces for our home, and 2. did not install them to specifications (PVC piping was too small), resulting in furnaces that kept breaking down/turning off, and inefficient so valve broke, 3. did not register the furnaces and warranty is void says the furnace company, and now we have to either replace the two furnaces (very very expensive), or replace the PVC piping which is also just a temporary fix and also an expense and hassle. I have never written a review before but want to warn other trusting people

I've never had my air conditioning unit inspected so after 12 years I figured it was time. Mack was on time, thorough in both his work and explanations, and was extremely polite. His prices are extremely fair and he was a genuinely nice person to work with. He never attempted to upsell anything and gave me a great walk through of his findings as well as general maintenance advice. I won't even look for another company or individual for future HVAC work. Absolute 10/10 experience.

Mack was able to get us on the schedule quickly for furnace maintenance after we got an error message on our thermostat. He was prompt, personable and thorough in explaining the results of his work. Thank you for the wonderful service!

We’ve used Seasonal Survival three times now; once for our under functioning air conditioner, once for some furnace maintenance and most recently for an emergency furnace repair. Mac worked on it for over an hour to try to get it running again and wouldn’t even charge us when it was unable to be repaired (it’s 30+ years old and just at the end of its life). He’s incredibly friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Highly, highly recommend.

We had our furnace go out and Mack was greatly responsive in scheduling a time to come out to replace it. They were very professional in installing the new furnace and supporting us through the process. Would definitely call them again if we encounter similar issues.

Superb service! The owner of the business gave me good advice over the phone in advance and was ready to replace our central air conditioner if necessary, on the same day as the maintenance visit. Within minutes of arriving he identified the problem as a dead capacitor, which he immediately replaced, and the unit started working again. A $25 part! He only charged us for that plus the $75 visit charge. And we were prepared for a $3500 hit! Whenever we have HVAC problems in the future we'll call Seasonal Survival immediately.

Mack is great installer, very professional with fair pricing. I used his services at least 3 times and everything was great. The only issue (this is why 4 out of 5 stars) is communication - sometimes he does not answer emails/texts and does not return calls.

Mack and his son replaced my old furnace with a new one. I used them in the past to check my furnace and AC. They are very professional and answered any questions I have and explain everything they are doing. They said I didn’t need to replace the AC at this time so they just checked/tuned it for no charge since they replaced the compressor when they installed the new furnace. I highly recommend them.
