Great service and value! Our water heater broke and Diane at DeBelak quickly responded to my internet query about replacement. Unlike the other 2 quotes we received, Diane replied with a total cost for the water heater replacement including the new heater, parts, labor, and removal of the old heater. I really liked this since an 'all-in' cost rather than time and materials let me know what the final cost would be. They were prompt, very professional, and completed the work the next business day. Highly recommend.

**** Even better **** The final invoice was lower than what I was quoted! Their evaluation of the heater determined that how it broke was covered under warranty with the manufacturer. I would have never known and truly appreciate how they looked into this and reflected the credit on their invoice.

When you call to explain what services you need and to set up your appointment the person on the other end should explain the trip charges, whether it will apply to you or not. I had very poor communication from the beginning. But when a plumber comes to your home and doesn’t have the part to fix it and has to order it and come back to finish the job they should not charge you a full trip charge on a existing job. To pay 368.00 dollars just for trip charges is absurd and truly is ripping you off.
Not when it’s for the job that they need to finish. My advice you need to clarify everything with this Company before they come to your house. And maybe the receptionist who answers the phone should also explain those things that could be a possibility with extra charges. I had very poor return call backs on when the plumber was coming the first time. 568.00 was a complete ripoff for 20 minutes of work and lack of customer Service.
Just ask a lot of questions before you use this plumber because they sure won’t go over things with you.

Joe DeBelak was able to quickly fit us into their schedule for a minor, but urgent repair. The work was completed promptly, well, and even upgraded over our previous solution. Would highly recommend and would gladly do business with them again.

The only missing star is due to cost, which I felt was a bit high, but due to the speed in which the repair was needed, I did not have much opportunity to wait for alternatives.

Contacted the plumbing folks on Sunday night, in anticipation of scheduling a non-emergency service visit at our store ( Sussex Country Floral ). Expected that it would be a day or two before they could arrive.

Their staff contacted me immediately after getting the message on Monday morning. They asked all the right questions, and I supplied images so they would know what tools/parts were needed.

Within an hour of our call, they were on site and repairing our problem. An hour after that, the repair was done.

We knew that this was not a major job for a skilled professional plumber, but that's the point. They acted like a skilled professional service person. That's what we wanted.

Rates are fair. No negatives at all. Very pleased with how they treated us and our situation.

I contacted DeBelak Plumbing and Heating and within 24 hours they contacted me to clarify our need, qualify the product, and had a quote to me within hours. They scheduled me within one day. Property managers - keep this company in mind. Contract them - they are good.

I called for an issue with my furnace not heating to temperature. The tech called early in the service window and arrived exactly when he said he would. He quickly diagnosed the problem and resolved it, as well as discovering a gas leak with my water heater which he promptly repaired as well. Tyler provided excellent service, resolving everything quickly and answering all of my questions. I will definitely be calling on them for future maintenance and repair needs.

Merging on to the interstate driver of company vehicle would not let merge. Nearly ran me off the road. Then proceeded to tailgate me before flying past me doing way over speed limit. Looking at previous reviews seems like I'm not the only person your company drivers have done this too. Employees wearing uniform or driving vehicles should be professional at all times. Gives your company a bad reputation. Good luck!

My husband and I have used joe debelak a few times for various plumbing issues. I had a plumbing emergency today and called them. They understood the urgency of the situation and quickly got the crew that I needed to my home. The plumbers that arrived were extremely professional and capable of solving my problem. Not only that, they were super friendly and willing to explain all of the options I had to fix my problem- AND they advised me against having a service performed that would cost me more money and would not help the situation (which other plumbers had recommended). Honestly I cannot say enough about how much I like these people. They are the most proactive, honest and hard working plumbers I’ve met....and I’ve met a lot of plumbers!! Highly recommended!

This company came to do work on our house through a Developer we hired for an addition. Long story short, besides installing 3 new Heating/A/C units, 3 new condensers we had 9 service calls in 12 days. No heat, no a/c, each time someone different who complained about the other employee being incompetent. The worst was their plumber who installed the main gas line leading to the meter and we found out it was improperly installed and leaking gas when We Energies made an emergency visit to find the leak was a level 9-10 and considered a "catastrophic" situation. Anything over a 4 is considered catastrophic. If we had plugged in a lamp or vacuum cleaner our house would have blown up. They did not care. They did not call and even apologize. We have gone to another great HVAC company to rip out all their work and install all new units, we are afraid what they have done and we need peace of mind that we can sleep at night. When the new company came to give a quote and look at the job, they bumped into the 90 degree elbow pipe that the exhaust from the unit took outside, it fell off and was carbon dioxide. It was never glued on and the vibration from the heating unit would have eventually dislodged the pipe and we would have died in our sleep from carbon dioxide. THEY ARE THE WORST - GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! ZERO stars.

Wish I could give a zero!! We called them to look at plugged up toilet. Initially said it was due to thick toilet paper and that he took care of the problem. We needed to call another time within two days after finding ourselves with the same problem. They charged us twice an outrageous amount of 150 bucks without taking care of the problem. We had to call another agency who were able to take care of the problem. Save yourselves money and stay away!
