General Heating & Air Conditioning Inc

Previous home owners had used General Heating & Air Conditioning to replace the furnace. Since we moved in 2018, General has been our go to for service because they were also regularly maintaining the home's HVAC equipment for years. I appreciate their communication in repair options and I will continue to use them in the future. Recently I signed up for the Home Comfort solutions to be consistent with preventative checks as well.

Had a maintenance appointment this after, technician came on time. He checked out our 20 year furnace and made recommendations. He asked if I had any questions and kept the area he worked on was left in an orderly manner.
I appreciate the advice he gave me. Will contact General Heating to make future purchases.

I've been very happy with General and have used them several times in the past. They are very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Not once have I felt like they were trying to pressure, scam, or upsell me. They are very good at doing the work and explaining the issues behind the repair.

It has been frustrating as our hearing system seems to keep failing in us. I think this was the 3-4 time we have had people GH&C out recently. Luckily, we had the most caring an compassionate technician ever. It’s so nice to deal with such a frustrating problem with such a kind person.

Heather Appenfeldt went above and beyond addressing the required work to a less than enthusiastic home warranty company (Choice Home Warranty). Completing the work while going back and forth with numerous people at the Warranty company despite my filing a claim and choosing their reimbursement process per their instructions. She was knowledgeable and professional in her dealings with them, but made them well aware she was not going to take discourteous treatment from them.
She took pictures for me to use in case of need dealing with the company and providing me, the home owner with excellent explanation of the issue with each system.

General Heating and Air Conditioning responds quickly and is willing to work with your schedule to accommodate the best time for their techs to come. I’ve had both my heater and my air conditioner serviced through them and both times Donald was our technician. He’s great and quickly determined and fixed the problem

Today we had our annual furnace and ac inspection and maintenance performed by General Heating. Technician was very thorough and explained the maintenance process answering my questions. I appreciated some of the suggestions made. Technician noted a potential problem with an a/c capacitor which we replaced to avoid a problem sometime down the road. Another very positive experience involving this particular business.

Great, responsive customer service from the moment I called the service line to when the technician, Avery, completed his work. Highly recommend! On top of the impeccable service, Avery recommended an in-house (Hooper) plumbing service to aid in a separate issue.

Been really frustrated with water in my laundry and plumbers
couldn't discover the issue. Nick discovered it immediately,fixed
it, cleaned up, and everything was good! He was friendly, informative,
and knowledgeable and gave me suggestions for my new furnace
and AC. I am happy he could come the same day that I called!

Very happy with the salesman that came out,(Jami )and showed us the line of products the General offered. He was able to move our install date up because of our leaving town. The installers showed up on time and did a very professional job installing our new furnace. When they finished the job they went over all operations of the furnace and made sure I was comfortable with this new furnace.
