Ben was very efficient with his service and was able to answer all the questions I had with ease and was very descriptive, also they were able to call me for an earlier appointment and were in and out with reasonable prices ! Highly recommend and will be using them again for any services on our HVAC.

Horrible interactions with Nathan, makes company look awful. At first he seemed knowledgeable and helpful, but the estimate took over a week and I had to call for it. I then had questions, such as decibel levels and how did certain units compare, but in email exchanges, they were never answered- missed or ignored, I don't know. He also said that they were unable to offer the $1400 rebate from PUD at this time... but what he failed to say, and didn't say until I called him out on it, was (direct from another email) " We are not set up to offer the rebate. We will need to send our technicians to a three-day class and don't haven't had time in our schedule to do so." I feel misled by his initial response regarding the rebate, and it's difficult to trust the company that wasn't straightforward with the rebate in the first place and doesn't answer all of my questions when asked. (I was actually referred by a couple people to Peninsula Heat and mistakenly contacted this company. I just realized my mistake as I looked up the number for the first company today and asked to speak with Nathan's boss, and they said it was a different company... So instead of calling the boss and wasting more of my time, I'm just getting a new estimate from the other company!) Upgraded from 1 to 2 stars for Nathan contacting me personally with apology and explanation.
Peninsula Heating and Cooling was impressive in their responsive service and professionalism. The HVAC tech Jordan was infomative, prompt, professional and courteous. He explained pros, cons & proper operations of my heat pump system & areas for improvement. I will DEFINITELY refer my friends and neighbors to Jordan & Penninsula for their HVAC needs.
Ben was fantastic! He was a professional in every sense of the word. He was tasked with diagnosing and repairing our heating system that had been improperly installed and didn't give up despite the many deficiencies he found. Pleasant, respectful, tenacious and knowledgeable are all apt descriptors of Ben. I'd not hesitate in the slightest to have him work for/with us again!
Was told on the phone they scheduled to come fix our heater on April 14 between 12-4. On April 14 at 3:30 PM, we called to confirm they were still coming. They said they had it in their schedule for April 15. They said they didn’t know why we were told April 14 and said it was in their system as April 15. We rearranged our schedules so someone would be at the house on April 14. We had plans on April 15, but had to cancel them because they messed up. They didn’t offer to reschedule so we wasted two days on these people. Luckily, they fixed the heater, but the unprofessionalism and lack of customer service won’t be keeping our business.
Dan & his partner were very quick doing the regular servicing of my furnace. Dan remembered where the furnace was from 2 years ago! I'm used to 1 man showing up & the process taking longer. I was also instucted about checking the filter every 4 mos and changing them every 6mos if needed. Thanks Peninsula! Paul Therriault
Their technician Shawn came to check the furnace, he said that it was repairable, that he only had to order a few pieces. After three days waiting for my estimate (I had to be calling every day to get it), Kris sent me an estimate for completely replacing the equipment, I called to ask why if the technician said that this equipment is repairable, why I had received an estimate for replacing the whole equipment, she told me a weird story, way different that the technician said to me. Very unprofessional service, it was a waste of time and money, but I wonder, who lied to me, the technician or Kris trying to sell more than I need?

Our air conditioner was not cooling. Ben came and immediately noticed the filter had fallen out of place and so dust etc. was able to get on the coil. "This is all Ben describing exactly what the problem was." He set about cleaning the whole area, putting in a new filter, then checking both the heating and cooling and also noticed refrigerant was low. He put in as much as he had and said he would come back in a few days to add the rest. He came the very next day and finished the job. Ben is a personable young man, knowledgeable about what he does, and efficient. I really enjoyed talking with him and I learned some things too. We will be using Peninsula again.
