Peninsula Heating and Cooling did an amazing job installing our AC system and their representative Michael was very professional and his customer service is top notch. Their installers were also very courteous and professional. I will highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.
Peninsula has really upped their game! I have a ductless heat pump in my home and an oil furnace in my shop. I’ve hesitated calling these last two years thinking the owner had retired and nothing was really wrong so I didn’t didn’t need to really find someone new until I went out in my shop and my oil furnace wasn’t working so I called and talked to the nicest gal and had someone here within an hour. I know that’s not the norm but they happened to have some cancellations and Patrick came out and he was great. Great communications, showed me the issues and was so pleasant! If anyone is needing a heating a cooling business, I would recommend these guys!
It wasn't an emergency but it could have been. My furnace stopped working during this rainy period and temp never going above 45°f. We had to use scrap firewood and space heater to keep warm. My usual company couldn't come out for almost 2 weeks unless I wanted to pay over time any day or time. I was told to call back if I couldn't keep warm and was willing to pay the higher price. I called Peninsula instead. It was Fri. afternoon so she got me in on Mon. Dan was on time, courteous, professional and let me ask questions every step if the way. He had his mask and practiced safe distance without it being weird. Found the problem and fixed it promptly. He also told us some things to do so the problem wouldn't happen again.The price was very reasonable. I will call on Peninsula Heating & Cooling from now on. Thats a big deal since the other company had been with us for over 30 years. They were good just not as good and not nearly as affordable. Thanks Dan!
This is the first negative review I think I’ve ever written, and I hate to do it, but I think it’s worth letting it be known, these guys aren’t worth working with.
My furnace wasn’t working so I gave the folks at peninsula heating and cooling a call and had a technician come out for a diagnostic. Something was off about the way he described the problem, so we called someone else out for a second opinion, also not something I usually do. The second guy, without knowing about the original visit, pointed out a completely different issue that, after looking at it, was pretty plain to see. After I asked, he explained that the thing that the PH&C guy said was wrong wasn’t an issue. The original recommendation would have cost us a lot of money and wouldn’t have fixed the issue. The folks in the office still billed me for the visit and the second company didn’t charge a thing for the much more professional visit. I’ll be going to the second company for a furnace replacement. I would highly recommend NOT going with these guys as they were far from sympathetic or professional after I called to give them my feedback.
We appreciate the prompt service Peninsula Heating and Cooling gave us to repair our furnace. They were able to send a technician out to replace a part in one day. They were recommended by a friend and we’re so happy to have our furnace working again.
My furnace kept not working and then would work and then stop working again so I called three times to make and cancel appointments with Peninsula. Each time they were very understanding and cordial and when I finally kept my appointment they came out the next day, were very quick and professional, and now my furnace is working great.
We had a 2-unit Mitsubishi mini-split installed. What a great experience ! The installers, headed by Stephen, plus Roque & Steve, were incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Our installation was kind of tricky as the upstairs unit had to be installed on an exposed beam in a cathedral ceiling. But it turned out perfect. The entire installation looks and works perfect. Use this company. You won't regret it.
They serviced my AC system, found a leak and replaced the coolant. A repair of over $1000. When I needed the system to work, it didn't. Coolant had leaked off and my system froze. They don't have 24 hour emergency service. When I called first thing Monday morning, they stated that they couldn't see my till at least Wednesday. They don't stand behind their work or take responsibility to make things right.
P.S. Called Advanced Heating and Cooling Monday morning, I am going to have my AC serviced the same Monday. That's service.
Had a great experience with Peninsula Heating & Cooling. My compressor died and the office quickly gave me a price on the repair and had Nathan come out and give me a price on replacing the system. We chose the repair since we don't know how long we will be staying in the house but I appreciate the time and effort put in by everyone at Peninsula Heating and Cooling. Thank you very much!!!
