I think how a business handles themselves outside of them doing a professional job is more important because you want to know who you are letting in your home! Their service truck license plate C47265B tried running me and a motorcycle off the road several times with erratic high speed driving and cutting you off into the cement barrier almost hitting it. The motorcycle cycle had to go far right to get away. We were on I5 south in Tacoma at 0700 today 5/28/23. I had to do 83 mph while on the phone with 911 to get the plate number and this photo. Seems this business chooses violence while in their work trucks! Businesses are dying and you’d think they’d care for everyone to remain standing! Well, businesses like this need to be removed for better people to operate safely!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the Owner for the great service! There was no drama with Out Today, the entire process went smoothly, and the customer experience is the best I've experienced. I really appreciated that they were ON TIME to my appointment, friendly to my questions, and didn't waste my time!!!

These guys came out to trouble shoot a circuit that was down. It took 2 days for the electrician to isolate the problem. When he left he ended up driving over our septic area costing us over 3000.00 to fix it. (I have the pictures and receipt to prove it).
They also disconnected the bottom floor of our homes' generator switch so only half the circuits work when on the generator. Lastly, they disconnected a 2 way switch so only one switch works instead of two. When we called the owner, he refused to compensate or accept responsibility. Court will be next.

I highly recommend Out Today Home Services. I called them with an urgent electrical issue and they were highly responsive, quickly scheduled an appointment and I found them to be very professional and courteous. They arrived at my property on time, was able to quickly understand the problem and rapidly identified the solution. I will certainly be using Out Today again in the future.

I called OutToday about an issue with an electrical switch and was quoted $100 just to come out and look, seems like a good deal, all I needed was to know if the issue was in the wall or not.

Guy comes out a few days later spends 30 minutes investigating and 30 minutes fixing his non contact voltage tester. We find the issue then he mumbles in a heavy accent "I can just throw a new GCFI for 49...". Assuring me he is giving me the best deal and not rewiring my whole wall for $1k.

Replaces a single outlet and leaves the drywall scraps and old outlet on the counter. I then find out he has charged me $500 instead of $150 so I call to see if there has been a mistake.

I immediately get yelled at and talked over with him stating that:
- I deserve to pay more because I make good money
- I should pay more because my condo was expensive (since 500k is expensive in bellevue??)

After not being able to get in a word without getting screamed at, he tells me he is with a client and will call me back but never does.

Just know they will tell you one price and charge you something different after they have done the work to make you feel obligated regardless of how minor the fix.

EDIT: Note how the response to this review just implies that I lied about the initial quote, and nothing about the contractor screaming over the phone for the review tagged as "professionalism".

yet it suspiciously matches the $99 fee which they "so graciously waived for me". I was never informed of any fee getting waived, but I was quoted $100 for them to come out as I stated above.

OutToday is by far the best contractor we have worked with. They were on time, they were professional and left our home as clean as they found it. They also made sure the parts we needed were compatible with our system and did a fantastic job. They are my new "go to".

I called and booked a service call for a light fixture issue I was having. On the morning they were supposed to come, they bumped me two weeks because they got a surge in more lucrative A/C service calls. They were incredibly rude about it, and unapologetic that they were bumping us. Galling customer service.

And they don't collect information about age when you book.

Andrew was on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. Quickly diagnosed the problem to resolution. Would definitely hire again

Very impressed the technician J that came out to help us. He was timely, professional, provided us with a few options for installation and gave my husband and I time to make a decision. He was very quick installing the outlet and had a great sense of humor. We’d work with Out Today again.

It was a lifesaver that I could get an electrician the day after I called. Everyone else was at least a week out. Jinder was prompt, friendly, professional, and very quick. I was impressed with the quality of his work and will definitely call you again if I need an electrician.
