Spoke to the owner Chase Tunnel on two different occasions last being Friday February 25th at which time he told me his design engineer would follow up with me as early as that afternoon to schedule an appointment. I never heard from anyone at Dominion and followed up on Tuesday March 1st for an update. It's now March 8th and I have yet to hear from them . A simple phone call stating you're not willing or capable of helping the customer would suffice. This is very unprofessional especially coming from the owner of a company that's advertised as "service based" . It doesn't settle well with the person who referred them either.

Dominion has been a good company to work with. I have used them multiple times in the past 10 years out of which I have had 2 years service contracts. The service contracts paid for itself with two free system tunes and a couple of service calls I had to make while on plan.
I did have one issue with the pricing of a coil and refrigerant replacement but it was worked out quickly by the service technician.
Dominion has trust worthy service techs.

They quoted $900+ to refill refrigerant on a small fridge. I thought it was outrageous. So, I called another company - Richmond refrigeration and they repaired it for $300.
Dominion sent us a bill for $285 for diagnosis. They listed 2 hours labor. Their technician was at our location for 1 hour max. Out of which he was outside on the phone chatting about who knows what for a good half hour.

We have been using DSCR at work for about 4 years for repairs and quarterly maintenance on our 16 rooftop units. If we have an issue, they are usually able to come out the same day. Most work is scheduled with the same tech, who is familiar with our equipment and it's history, and whose opinion I've come to really trust.

We were familiar with Dominion Service Company for their Richmond business; however, when they opened an office in Virginia Beach, we were thrilled! Chico is our service technician and he is so knowledgeable and kind. He only made recommendations for services/repairs that were absolutely necessary and the prices are extremely affordable. We bought the Club Agreement which includes 3 Tune-ups within a 1 year period and it was less than the rate for a standard HVAC company to come out for 1 visit! If you live in Hampton Roads/Richmond, go with Dominion Service Company...they are wonderful!

We have used Dominion Service Company for many years and have had a new heat pump installed and a mini split unit installed as well as several repairs to our units. They always send qualified, polite, and efficient technicians to our house. Yesterday, we awoke to no heat downstairs and it's very, very cold with a huge snow storm predicted this weekend. They had the technician here before noon, we had heat within an hour. Sadly, our very ancient heat pump is not going to last much longer and we decided to replace it. By 1:30, their estimator was here, had taken the information he needed and within 24 hours we had an estimate. I can't recommend this company enough!

Got a call from my renters at 9 am saying the AC in the house wasn't working. Put in a call to DSCR shortly after and by 10:30 am they had someone on the way. I was grateful how quickly they responded because temps were going to be in the 90's that day.
The tech was very professional, quickly diagnosed the problem, and explained to me what was going on. Thankfully it wasn't a major issue and he had it fixed quickly. No pressure to fix or replace anything above and beyond the problem.
He was in and out within 45 minutes and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely use again.

The tech that came to my home to check my heating systems before winter was really good. Very thorough and efficient. He also told me about a heat pump rebate program that I wasn't aware of. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. Thanks Dominion.

Over the years we have used a fair amount of heating and cooling companies. I certainly wish I discovered Dominion a lot sooner. It would have saved me a lot of money! Finally, a company who does what they say they are going to do - when they said they would do it. They were on time, professional, and really explained (in terms I could understand) the problem plus possible solutions. And the best part....My new system has truly lowered my electric bill. So far I am saving $80-$120 a month compared to last year. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dominion!!!
