The plumbing technician assigned to my service request was very unprofessional, nearly unintelligible, and refused to give me any information about pricing or fees until he'd been dispatched, which would cost $109, at which point, according to him, would then allow him to access prices for various services, and stated that I would be billed for his time, which seems fair, but could not tell me what rate would be charged, stated that "using tools or equipment" would be additional fees, but could not, or would not, tell me what those fees would be, and stated that he would also charge "if I have to go get anything else to use," implying that he would arrive without the means to clear a clogged drain, and would then charge extra to go get the missing supplies. It also seemed like he doesn't understand the basic concept of an hourly rate, claiming "I can't tell you how much it will cost because I don't know how long it will take." I contacted the customer service rep who schedule my appointment, and he contradicted what the technician told me, and still wouldn't provide any pricing information.
All of the technicians that have come to my house have been very nice. They are always on time and I don't feel like I am being cheated. I trust Bradley Mechanical.
When my 14 year old HVAC system finally gave up the ghost, I called around and arranged for estimates from four local companies. After much deliberation and being too cold because this all happened in late December, I went with Bradley Mechanical. Not because of the goofy TV commercials featuring Brandon and Mr. Bradley, but because they offered me the best deal on a Quality, Union made Lennox system. Chris W and J.D. did the install with what I am convinced was a level of knowledge and professionalism gained only through years of education, attention to detail and hard work. Hunter and Dillon did my duct cleaning with the same professionalism, and got it done with a quickness. All four of these guys were considerate of my home and took care to move the old units out and the new units in with the least harm possible. And all four guys were all lovey-dovey to my little beagle Ginger too. She loves meeting people, but also has to check out any strangers coming into her home. Totally dog friendly crew which makes everybody more comfortable. I don't expect to have a new HVAC install for several years, but when I do, I will again call on Bradley Mechanical to get it done.
