Let me say that I was very much looking forward to using this business as they came highly recommended by my neighbor. I need two multi zone mini splits installed in my extensive remodel.

The first appointment was a no-show and I had to call them to find out where the technician was, only to be told it had slipped through the cracks in their transition to a new scheduling system. They could see me in four days. I had already waited over a week and for someone in the middle of a time sensitive large remodeling project, that was too long, so they managed to squeeze me in the next morning. Mr Randolph came out and spent about twenty minutes with us, took some photos, he already had details on the systems I wanted installed. That was the 8 April, it is now 17 April and there's no sign of an estimate being sent to me. Call me impatient but I did follow up with an email again to the company after five days to find out when to expect the estimate, and got no response.

I can't work like this. Sadly I will have to find another contractor to do these jobs for me.

Incredible. That’s the best way to describe this company. I’ve used 1st due several times on three different properties in Richmond, and I won’t ever bother to look elsewhere. You can trust that no matter what the problem is, it’s going to get fixed. And most importantly you can trust that you aren’t going to get screwed over in anyway. 1st Due is by far the most knowledgeable, customer friendly and fair company out there. If only the owner Ray started other businesses, I would use him for everything without hesitation. He’s just that good.

I was extremely satisfied with the high level of professionalism exhibited by the personnel at 1st Due Solutions. My appointment was scheduled in a timely manner. The service technician took pride in his work and explained the process in a manner which was very transparent in nature. The issue was mitigated quickly and my home returned to being a cool environment! This is a company that you can trust inside and outside of your home. 1st Due Solutions fixed my heat pump when it stopped working today. Ray and his team were punctual and their attention to detail was second to none. Ray explained the issues and was meticulous in repairing them. Quality, professional, and detail oriented. I would highly recommend them.

They were very thorough and professional and had incredible attention to detail, this was a job “done right” We received several estimates for this job and they were very reasonable. 1st Due Solutions were EXCELLENT!!! Very professional, informative, and provided great quality. Ray, the owner, was the best! He completes or overviews all of his work. He replaced my entire HVAC system for about half of what Woodfin was trying to charge. Ray educated me on everything that he did while replacing the system and how to maintenance of my system. He told me that he would be able to complete it on Saturday and he completed it on Saturday. He even told me about a slight leak that I was in my main water valve. Overall GREAT experience. I would suggest them to anyone that has any HVAC issues.

Contractor was proficient and patient in determining the source of my systems problem, as well as the resolution. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

Fantastic customer service! I can't say enough about how much I appreciate 1st Due Solutions. Our ac quit working after hours and the tech still offered to drive over an hour to us to get us fixed that night. Instead of having him out so late I had him walk me thru the fix and boom! We're cooling again. And he's still going to come out and check the equipment to make sure everything is still working properly!
