One of my a/c continue to reach high temperatures from 74 to 83. I called my home warranty American Home Shield. They sent out A/C plus. The technician said he had to replace capacitor.
When I gradually lowered the temperature to 78 the panel matched the set to inside temperature until it got to 78. The inside temperature jumped back to 83. I called the technician shortly after the services. He said you have to wait 24 hours to lower the temperature to that setting. It has been a week and my family is still dealing with this issue.
They came back a week later and said the weather and insulation of my home is the problem. He was so insulting. We have been dealing with the weather prior to them coming out and sitting comfortably at 74 degrees in my home. I am definitely not this a/c company or home warranty again.

Had to call my home warranty company (AHS horrible don’t ever get one) but they sent AC Plus INC. They were right on time. Very friendly and he diagnosed our issue in less then 5 mins. Def will call them in the future once I get rid of home warranty company. A lot of issue people have are not the ac company fault, it is the home warranty companies fault because they won’t approve the right parts all the time

I went through this company because of American Home Shield - I will ensure to avoid this company going forward NEVER AGAIN. I needed service on my AC. I requested that I receive a call about 30 minutes prior to arrival. I got a call at 9:44am stating that Tien would be at my house in about 30 minutes. I got an email at 10:34am stating that Tien was on his way for arrival at 10:51am. There was no consideration taken for a 2 hour difference in arrival time. Once the tech got to my home he was there maybe 15 minutes before saying that what was wrong with unit wasn't covered under the policy and it would be an additional $120.00 to complete service -- I questioned the fee but was also willing to pay just to get my AC back up and running. The tech said he could not complete the work without approval from the warranty company - I questioned why if I am paying for the service and could never get a clear answer other than I had to wait. I called another AC company outside my home warranty - that company confirmed the diagnosis of A-C Plus and completed the service/repair for $85.00. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE

A/C Plus was assigned by American Home Shield and I could not be more satisfied. Mr. Nguyen was Courteous, wore a mask and gloves and took his shoes off in my foyer. He initially could not duplicate the problem {how many times has that happened in different service situations?}. He continued to troubleshoot and found a faulty circuit on the control board. I would ask for this contractor again should I need HVAC service in the future.

AC Plus is not a reputable company. I agree with the other comment. The technician was unprofessional. In addition, the technician was supposed to fix my reverse valve and refill my coolant. However, what the technician didn't do was bolt down my outside AC unit, which caused damaged to the unit and the propeller fan. The unit is no longer functional. I didn't know this, until I had a third party person come inspect the unit. How the series of events occurred was after a month of having no success in a lower light bill due to the "fixes" from AC Plus, I called American Homeshield back to have AC Plus reinspect my unit. The technician comes over and within 5 minute says that nothing is wrong with my unit and that my 1500 sq ft townhouse has a $450 light bill because I need insulation and then left. I thought that was a load of baloney, so I had third party company come out and inspect my unit and that's when he said that the previous technician (AC Plus) did not bolt the outside unit down, causing it to spin out of control, dig groves in the unit, and break the inside fan. There's other pieces sitting on my fence line that also didn't get put back in the unit. This unit is now condemnable. The outside unit is now considered unsafe and disconnected. The third party technician didn't even feel comfortable working on the unit due to damage caused by AC Plus and recommended that I report it and hold them responsible. AC Plus negligence damaged my property and cost me my unit. The worst part of it all, is when the technician came out for a second look on the work he did, he saw that he didn't bolt my unit back down and that it was not working. He lied right to my face, blaming it on my insulation. Nobody has been in my yard, nobody has touched the unit, nobody has removed bolts, and I have plenty of pictures for documentation. Claims have been filed. Home shield has been notified. And summons will be forth coming.

Worst company ever. Had to go through them because of the Home Warranty company American Home Shield. They've been coming out for several months for them to keep throwing parts for it to break constantly. They just came out Thursday and not even an hour later it broke again. I notified them and haven't heard back. I asked AHS for another company. A/C plus and AHS is a scam. They need to replace my 30 year old heater but will not because they will not state that it needs to be "replaced" . I've had to pay out of my own pocket $360 for them to replace parts for it to break again several weeks later. My tenant was without heat for 1.5 weeks when temperature was 17 degrees! Now I am losing a tenant, have to pay the difference in her electric bill due to the situation ($200) and still have to pay AHS for service fees, monthly fees, and pay out of pocket to have my unit replaced because they will not. This company is unprofessional. Listen to their voice mail. They do not call back half the time. You have to hound them to get any answers. They're rude. And will tell you one thing and tell the AHS another thing so they can keep getting work. Record your conversations with them to have proof when they come out. They told me that whoever fixed my thermostat wires had hooked it up wrong come to find out it was them. But they ended up diagnosing a different situation with AHS so they are not at fault. I can go on and on.

The technicians name was Nugyen and got my Carrier HVAC working in about 15 minutes by replacing the control board on the air handler. I used my home warranty American Home Shield and am impressed so far.

A/C plus is by far the worst company ever to exist. MY A/C went out in the middle of July. They came at 445 on a friday after calling me at 205 saying they were coming in 30min. (1st red flag). My A/C was "fixed" in 10min on Friday only to be broken by Sunday morning. I called Monday it took them till Thursday to come back, only to THEN say it would take 7-10 business days for them to come back. yes i had my 4 & 6 year old kids with me all the while just baking. "nothing they coupd do" long story short they came 4 more times (broke again, messed up breaker, then still messed up breaker never fixed) I BEGGED my home warranty to let me get a different company out after this last time. A/C plus... either doesnt know what they are doing or they are crooks that never really finish a job. my next door neighbor nad the same issue. only 3times total for them though. do NOT use this company. I will never let them near my house or A/C unit. no one calb make this type of stuff up! A/C plus i Hate u, with your horrible work ethic, unaccomidating for your customers, and being just a nightmare. 1 review isnt enough. seriously

Technician (Nguyen) is totally unprofessional. Has canceled our part orders more than once. Refuses to return calls. Took my $917 and ran with it. I’ll never see the money, Nguyen, or the parts I paid to have replaced again. Please do not use this horrible company.

This contractor came to my house through American home shield. He “fixed” the issue but they broke/made another issue. I called American home shield and twice the repair was “canceled” somsays the secretary of the company. Do not let this contractor come to your house. They are very unprofessional and it will be a waste of your time.
