Richards has been great! They installed my unit 9 years ago and recently replaced a capacitor to get it running again. The part was luckily under warranty so they were able to do the service for the cost of labor only. The technician arrived on time and was very efficient. The customer support person was very friendly and professional.

Richards is GREAT! Our water heater developed a leak at 4PM. We called Richards and they scheduled an appointment for the next morning between 7:30 & 8:30. At 8:30 they called to say they were running late and would be there at 9:00. They arrived and within 20 minutes had determined the water heater needed to be replaced, the price, they had it in stock and that it would be done that day.

At 10:30 am one person arrived to start disconnecting and draining the old water heater followed by two other people who had the water heater. By 1:15 they were through. They cleaned the floor where the old heater was before installing the new one. They were efficient, extremely competent and the price was reasonable. They put drop cloths down to protect the floors and when they were finished everything was cleaner than when they started.

The reason I called Richards instead of a plumbing company is that they installed the water heater years ago when we replaced our furnaces so I knew their work product. They have done all the work on our furnaces and water heaters for almost 30 years.

The crew was headed by Rodolfo and they deserve a 10 out of 10 rating!

Richards came and replaced our hvac for half of the price one of the “big box” companies. They were friendly and thorough from the person who took my phone call to the guys who installed the unit. The guy who came and gave the estimate was awesome, he was honest and explained everything. They were all great! Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Richards! They were responsive, communicative and clear about scheduling, diagnosis and repair. All techs were extremely professional, answered my questions respectfully and in a way I could understand, and completed the work ahead of expectations. After years with another company, Richards is my go-to HVAC call from now on.

Richards bid less and won our trust and got the job - and our business. They have always been honest with us, have saved us money, their techs have educated us and given us pointers. My heat was not turning on. I called on a Saturday and within 1 hour Jorge was at my home and quickly got my heat working ! He was very knowledgeable, efficient and extremely respectful. He skillfully explained everything to me. So thankful to him. My daughter was arriving from Florida in a couple of hours. So grateful. I will continually use Richard’s. Thank you!

When it comes to value, Richard's Heating and Cooling's prices for replacing my HVAC AND Water Heater blew every other company's prices out of the water- They quoted me almost half the price for the same value! You can tell they have been doing this a long time and don't have high overhead of marketing & advertising like these other companies, mostly a referral business that has been satisfying their customers for over 60 years. I was extremely satisfied with their service, employees, and professionalism. They offer payment plans or paying by credit and are very efficient and straightforward with the whole process. I would use them again and again!

Richards performed an incredible job of replacing the Air Handler. The Air Handler was in the attic, in an extremely tight space. New Air Handlers are larger than our old unit and it took a lot of ingenuity to maneuver the new system in place. A shout out to Rodolfo for not giving up and figuring it out!
