Jaime showed up on time and well prepared. Polite and knew what he was talking about. Did a very detailed inspection on my HVAC system inside and out and walked me through the process afterwards and provided all necessary documentation when finished. He answered any questions I had as well. Great service and I am choosing to stay with the company for future services on-going!

The technician was very good and friendly. The problem I have is them not standing by a warranty that was included with our new system purchase. Our thermostat stopped working and needed to be replaced. It was covered by the warranty but we needed to cover the cost difference between the old model (discontinued) and the new model. This isn’t fair or reasonable.

A pretty good company, so long as you be careful about any fees that they try to tack on to you. The plumbers who worked on my waste line leak and water heater did good work and were friendly. It feels like their manager gets them to add fees where they can. Parts/Labor expenses seem reasonable, but always negotiate additional fees where you can, and you'll get good work at a decent price.

Adam K was great. I request him for all my HVAC services. He's is extremely knowledgeable and very detailed. He took his time and made sure my systems in both my houses were operating at peak performance. He also recommended some items that I will strongly consider for the fall/winter service period.

Adam did a great job with our annual furnace check-up. He was clean and professional, and also answered some questions for us about ongoing maintenance and air scrubbers. We heartily recommend Modern Mechanical.

I've been very happy with George's service for a number of years. He helped me through the replacement of our main system, and has provided helpful tips on how to extend the longevity of our secondary system. Recently, George performed service on a Friday morning. When we had a glitch arise with the serviced unit on Saturday, George was on the phone with me to work out the issue and it was fixed shortly thereafter. Overall I'm at the point where I don't want to work with other techs, only George.

Modern Mechanical’s technician came early in the window we were expecting and quickly diagnose the problem with my HVAC system as being associated with the thermostat control system.
He ran several tests and then walk me through what I should do next time if it happens in order to avoid a service call.
Also provided advice on annual maintenance of the system which was very helpful.
Very professional and engaging!

Although the repair services were minor, Robert took a lot of time explaining aspects of the electrical system in our home to me. I appreciated the impromptu educational class he provided. Quick and easy repair plus excellent customer service. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in need of electrical services.

I like Modern Mechanical. They have replaced two furnaces and one a/c compressor over the past 2 years. They are always on time, do a great installation and leave the work area spotless. Today, Kenny actually arrived early. He diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the worn out part. I was extremely pleased with the service.

Update: October 2015: Well, here's an update on my second encounter with Modern Mechanical. I have a 2 Zone system, and unfortunately my 20 year old furnace/AC combo had reached the end of it's life. Based on my prior experience, I had Modern Mechanical provide a quote for a new propane fueled furnace and AC unit. Got a very competitive quote on a Rheem unit, and authorized the job. This time around, Modern Mechanical got me an 18 month, no interest loan, which will help from a cash-flow management perspective. Paul, Elvin and Ben did an absolutely terrific job. I told them that they really are artisans - the quality of work, the attention to detail, the respect that they show for your home really put them in a class unto themselves. Beyond that, they are really grounded, nice guys. Modern Mechanical is top flight. Thanks for 2 JOBS well done!

I have to give Modern Mechanical 5 Stars. I had to buy a replacement Heat Pump - our existing unit was 20 years old. I started making calls to get prices and contacted Modern Mechanical. Jeremiah in Sales - totally transparent. I knew what I was looking for - he suggested an upgrade for a very nominal increase. Beat a competitors price by almost $1K. We closed the deal in about 10 minutes. Scott in Production called and emailed, and got me on the schedule right away. Managed my expectations about installation. Installation Day - Today - got a call from Paul saying, "I'm loaded up and will be at your place in 30 minutes." 30 minutes later he was there with Travis showing up shortly behind him. Excellent installation. Both Paul and Travis couldn't have been more courteous or more vested in doing a superior job. And that's exactly what I got - a really clean installation of a new Rheem 2 Ton H/P. I had seen great ratings regarding Modern Mechanical, and I'm happy to add my own testimonial to the mix.
