3rd time customer—Danny does top quality work and very prompt. As a hardcore DIY’er, I was impressed by his knowledge of refrigeration theory and his attention to detail. My 250 sqft enclosed porch was almost unusable during the winter. Now the 18k BTU mini keeps it nice and toasty.

Before this he moved the central A/C condenser unit to the other side of the house to facilitate foundation repair. The new line-sets were run very neatly and the job was done within a day.

I would recommend Danny to anyone!

Danny and Carl are thorough and professional and I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to my friends. Danny helped me limp along my 27 year old furnace last season (2021) and we discussed replacement ahead of this season (2022). Fast forward and now I have a new Bryant furnace with a size-matched coil (my old one didn't match) and a new humidifier. Everything works amazing and my house is so much more comfortable with much better airflow.
Job well done guys. You are in good hands and simply can't go wrong using Merenda Refergeration!

Merenda Refrigeration & HVAC is a lifesaver. We woke up around 7 AM on a hot day in July to find our house heating up very quickly due to the AC going out. That same day, within a couple hours, Danny and Carl arrived and diagnosed the issue and provided us with our options. They gave detailed information regarding the cost and lifespan of each option. Ultimately, we ended up replacing the whole AC system. Within the next couple hours, they were back and installing the new system. Within 24 total hours, our house was cold and comfortable again. On top of that, they were super friendly to our dogs and worked around my work from home schedule seamlessly. great service, great team, cannot recommend enough!!

Merenda Refrigeration was referred to me so I trusted the source and called this company. Upon arriving, and hours later, he diagnosed that the unit was low on Freon (what ever gas a/c use ) and he could add it at a cost of $110 per pounds. total of $220. Now I know he is not a mind reader and nothing is guaranteed, but I trusted that his diagnosis would buy me some time until I could purchase a new unit. Within one hour or less the unit temperature did not cool down my home. As a matter of fact, the Thermostat was going up as the house continued to get hotter. I text him twice and ask him to return to my home but he did not come back but called and push to sell me a new unit or take mine out back to his shop @ cost. That phone conversation was geared to me purchasing a unit as I was still questioning why after adding the gas it did not work. I pay close to$500 dollars for this service which is a lot of money to me and the only good faith effort made on behalf of the company is if I purchase a unit from them they would consider crediting the $220. Getting upset at this point, but as I thought through it, if you notice that a link existed, would the diagnosis of the adding Freon the right decision? I personally feel like I was taken advantage of considering my air condition unit only cool for 30 minutes and no good faith effort to return a portion of my funds. Now I am still out of money and will look for someone I can completely trust to fix my a/c.

Professional and timely service. I was so grateful for the responsiveness and consideration of my budget. I was advised on the issues with my air conditioner and given best and least expensive options. I can't wait to use them again when my budget is bigger.
