Came and looked at our unit, the fuses were bad so he replaced them and the AC unit worked totally fine. Didn’t charge us an arm and a leg for the service call or the repair. They know what to and the repairs they make have always worked and have had no issues with them needing to come back.. We called Call Climate Services after we had another HVAC company tell us that we needed a new furnace. Nothing about the way the other company approached the situation felt right. When I tried to speak with the tech and ask questions, the answers were short and I was repeatedly told to go back to what I was doing. It was clear that I was not welcome to watch. The tech spent very little time in our home and performed expensive services without first consulting with us. Within less than 30 minutes and without even looking at the thermostat, this other company's technician told us that the control board was shot and quoted what seemed like an extremely high price for the repairs. He immediately recommended that we get a new furnace, called for a salesman to come to our home, then charged us three times what we were expected for the call (the price now included that expensive service he hadn't asked permission for first).
Call Climate responded quickly and was happy to come out and give us a second opinion. When the technician--Scott--arrived, he was kind, willing to explain what he was doing, answered my questions, and invited me to watch as he worked. He began by looking over all aspects of the system (furnace and thermostat, etc.) and then tested the components carefully. He determined that the issue was a problem with the thermostat not sending an appropriate signal to the furnace which was tripping a failsafe in the control board. Not only was the control board not going out, it was function exactly how it was supposed to. A new thermostat--provided by a warranty replacement--fixed the issue.
Call Climate was honest, kind, respectful, and looked for the best and most-reasonable solution to the problem. They seemed to understand that this was a difficult time for the customer and that it wasn't helped by exploiting them. The contrast between my treatment by Call Climate and the other company could not have been more stark. I will recommend Call to anyone and everyone that I know. This experience made a permanent customer out of me. I now have an HVAC company that I trust.

We were very satisfied with their service, their tech, John Allen was very professional and courteous. He was able to replace an inexpensive relay where many people may have replaced a whole circuit board instead. Would definitely recommend this business for AC repair!

With a hydronic heating system in a 50-year-old house, we had no pre-existing ductwork, so the job of installing a new air conditioning system required them to add ceiling vents to each room with ductwork and airhandler installed in the attic. They completed the job in less than three days, meticulously cleaned up as they worked, and were patient, friendly, and very professional. We are impressed and 100% satisfied with Call Climate's work.

He spent time diagnosing, didn't make any assumptions and found the broken part quickly and it was swapped out. Very reasonable price. When my elderly neighbor was quoted $6,000 to replace a broken system by a highly advertised service company, I suggested she call Scott at Call Climate. She did and $186.00 later her old air conditioner was working perfectly. It just needed service and some sensor unit.
Our 50+ year old broiler heating system went out and filled our home with carbon monoxide. We called the company who had serviced the boiler many years earlier and they bumbled around with a diagnosis that sounded bogus. The tech didn't even know the poison in the air. We called Call Climate and Andrew came to our rescue. We were in danger of suffocation. Andrew figured it out immediately. We got a new system that heats our home so much better than our 50 year old broiler ever could. It was not just the better broiler, Andrew re designed the hot water flow with better thermostats, better pumps, etc. Call Climate is the best company you could ever consider.

They said my entire system was too big for the house and they needed to start everything over from scratch - install new furnace, AC, new ducts, everything. $10,000 for that. If I wanted, I could replace the blower motor but the warranty was soon to expire and because the system was too big for the house, it would wear out the new motor and they would just be back to fix it again and again if we didn't replace the entire system. Wanted $750 to replace the part that was still under warranty. I paid their service call fee and sent them on their way. Talked to a neighbor that is a retired HVAC guy and he said there is nothing wrong with the size of our system and it just looks like a bad blower motor. He recommended Call Climate Services. They came out, let me know the blower motor was bad, that it was under an extended warranty that I had paid for - that was from yet another company that I had bad luck with - and the initial 5 year warranty was still good until Nov anyway, but with the extended warranty it was covered for another 5 years. Anyway, Scott took my motor, got a replacement for no charge - thanks to the warranty - and only charged me for labor. So I went from $10,000 or $750 with no guarantee the motor wouldn't have to be replaced in a few months to under $250 for Scott to make everything right. So glad I didn't go with the first company. I will continue to call Call when I need help with my HVAC.
