Chris from Nick's came out on short notice to a property in Carrollton and quickly identified the issues with our AC system. Very honest and straightforward guy who you trust. Pointed out the problems in a way that I could understand. Would definitely use again.
I initially contacted Nick to get a second opinion on an AC Replacement proposal that I had received from another vendor. Nick was nice, never short with me, and even explained items better than the other vendor had! After several delays and many new cost being added on to my proposal with the other vendor, I began to lose confidence in a quality and successful replacement of my AC system… So I called Nick.
Nick was never pushy, always explained everything, was honest, and upon my request he offered me a new proposal to replace my AC system. Nick gave a fair quote, provided a product with a warranty, and was able to get the parts required with no delay, which was important considering we had been waiting for quite some time and it is a HOT summer.
On the installation day, Nick’s team was on time, very fast to do the job, and polite. They didn’t leave until I was satisfied.
I would highly recommend Nick’s AC for any and all AC, Heating services or installations.

He was very nice and professional the entire time. He was able to diagnose that I had a bad capacitor on my unit very quickly and he replaced it. Inside 1 hour from when I called them my AC was up and running again and I avoided having to sleep in a crazy hot house again. Absolutely fantastic service and great people! When we walked in our bedroom and the temp was rising we freaked out a little. We called nicks air services and they were here next morning since it was after hours. They did such an amazing job and found the issue right away! Cleaned our coils and now we should be good to go and our electricity bill should be way lower now! Nick came out next day when I called late about a heating issue during a nasty cold spell. He was knowledgeable, quick, and extremely generous with his time. Would give 6 stars!
We initially contacted Nicks Air Services after some recommendations from friends.
From the symptoms the A/C had short cycling we thought it may have been an issue related to a refrigerant leak, and Nicks AC is one of the few companies that offers to weld shut leaks if its in a fixable location.
We called after hours over the weekend after our A/C started suddenly short cycling in the evening. Chris the manager gave us a call back quickly and talked to us personally and was able to schedule us quickly.
Chris came out and long story short there was no refrigerant leak, the short cycling was due to one of the drain pipes not clearing all the way. He checked the pressure and for any signs of a leak but everything looked good.
It turns out the previous A/C company may have lied to us about the leak and used it as an excuse to add additional items to increase the bill.
Chris was very professional and took his time to answer our questions, I would highly recommend Nicks Air Services and will be using them for all my needs in the future.
Called this company to arrange for a service tune-up on our furnace and was told an assistant would give us a call to schedule, this was on a Friday and waited until Tuesday and decided to check back and was told by the owner he would get back to us later that day Tuesday. By Wednesday afternoon it became evident we were not going to receive a call. I understand company's are busy and am willing to work with their schedules. If your unable to work with us or choose not to work with us just please be honest and inform us of your decision. I just read your response and no we did not get your answering service we talked to you twice as stated in the above post ( please re -read the post) and you promised to return our call. As I stated in the original post you OWE IT TO PEOPLE TO LET THEM KNOW YOUR BUSY AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SERVICE THEM. We waited 3 days for your call and any company with integrity would have had the decency to inform the customer they are not available to service them . Our time is as valuable as yours.
Yesterday one of our AC units started blowing warm air and the outside unit wouldn't come on. I called NIck's last night and, since it wasn't an emergency, I asked if they could come out this morning. They said they'd call at 9:00am. At 9:06am I got a call from them telling me he was on his way - already a positive experience. He got here, looked at the unit and had it fixed within 5 minutes. Fantastic! The only (minor) issue I had is that he looked at it, fixed it, and then came to the door telling me how much it cost and gave me a bill. He really should've diagnosed the problem, told me how much it would be and then asked if I was OK with him fixing it instead of him just going ahead and performing the fix and then telling me how much I had to pay. I was going to need it fixed so it's not a huge deal but that was an odd experience. Otherwise, it was great and I'll be using Nick's again. Getting it fixed that quickly was great.
