A/C Works

Have been using David for the birthday last few years for regular maintenance of system and repairs when needed. First used David when my system went out completely and was told by another A/C company that the system needed replacement. Called David for a second opinion - he came out quickly, replaced a faulty capacitor and the system worked fine. And he did not charge me a dime (even after I insisted on paying him something) - saying he really didn’t do anything.

On another occasion I had my A/C system go out late on a Fri nite in July. David came out at 2 AM - explained how the system needed replacing and them came out the following Sunday to replace the unit.

Service like this is rare nowadays - I wholeheartedly recommend David and his team at AC Works for any HVAC needs you may have. They are fair, professional, reliable and truly takes your needs into consideration

So...I have been using these guys for a couple of years, and have been generally happy with their service.....until yesterday. Had made an appointment a few days ago for AC maintenance, the guy pulled up in front of my house, sat there a few minutes, and left. Then I get a call from the office secretary saying that she was relaying the information from David the owner that they would not be providing service to me because of 'numerous negative interactions' with me in the past. I was floored! As I said, I had generally had a good experience with them. There was a minor incident on their last call a while back, where they came out for an evaluation and decided to add freon to my unit without telling me the additional charge and getting approval. I brought it up later to David, he sent them back the next day to retrieve their freon, and refunded me the extra charge. I was satisfied, and considered the matter closed. I support the right of business owners to do business or not with whoever they choose, but I feel if this is the reason I am being blacklisted, I think it is petty and vindictive, and bad business policy. Of course, I am not sure, because David never called me back to discuss. Come on David, call me, I don't bite! Even if i never receive service from you again, we can clear the air and move on!

I have used this company for over 15 years for all my heating and cooling needs and have always been satisfied! They are honest, professional, experienced, punctual, respectful, and they stand by their work. No unwanted surprises.

Very happy with service from A/C Works. Would highly recommend! David was prompt and quickly diagnosed an easy fix. He was able to get us in his schedule the same day I called, very thankful, as it was in the 100s the day the ac stopped working!

I found A/C Works when I first moved to McKinney 7 years ago. I've needed their services numerous times during these past 7 years. David is extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He will usually be able to come out within 24 hrs. Sometimes it's longer if it's the busy time of year, but it's never been more than 36 hrs. I can text him and he'll tell me what to do until he or Jason, one of his techs, can get here. He has come to my house on a Friday night at 8 pm on a holiday weekend because that was when he could fit me in. You will be very pleased with David and his crew. We're moving 4 hrs away, so I will not be in his service area anymore. I feel like we're leaving good friends.
