My AC was starting to struggle and I saw an ad by 32 Below on one of my facebook community groups with a coupon for a $49.99 complete tuneup. I booked an appointment online for that Friday and immediately received an automatic reply from the web service followed by a personal text from Steve (who I later learned was the owner) confirming the appointment and stating that he would personally be coming out to perform this service.
The next morning (Wednesday) I woke up to no AC at all and it was already 86 degrees in my living room. I texted Steve at the number he used to confirm my appointment asking him to please move me up to the next available appointment if possible. He called me back within 5 minutes! He was on another call fairly close by and promised he would stop by as soon as he was done and arrived about 2 hours later. He quickly diagnosed my problem and gave me several options from least to most expensive and he thoroughly explained the caveats of each option but at no time did he put any pressure on me.
When the repair crew arrived, they were completely professional and it was obvious that they knew exactly what they were doing and it was also obvious they have been working as a team for a long time. They laid down floor coverings from the entryway to the attic entrance and left no signs any major work had even been performed here. They were also concerned about how the installation "looked" even though it is in my attic and I never go up there. I do however, appreciate pride of workmanship and these guys have a right to be proud.
Steve gave me an exact quote at the beginning of this adventure and the price of the work scope never varied from that quote even though there were some materials that were discovered to be not reusable during the installation. He informed me of the oversight but immediately stated that he was covering that cost because he wanted everything to be perfect for us without any additional stress.
Good customer service and honest contractors are becoming increasingly hard to find and I think those that remain should be rewarded. If you're looking for a good AC/heating company, please give this company a call. I try to write well but i promise I am not a professional reviewer. I am just a random local guy who had a problem with his air conditioner and these people stepped up and helped me without delay when I needed it.
32 below is the place to go this man is a genius hey tell you what you going to do and that's exactly what he does only charges for the service call sometimes he's a great guy very friendly highly knowledgeable knows how to get the job done I trust him anytime I have a problem.
