Shane is very professional and knowledgeable at what he does. He was able to troubleshoot and fix the issue quickly. I would highly recommend calling him for ALL HVAC issues. His professional experience and quick response is second to none.
My A/C broke in the middle of the night, called CHILL Air , talk to Shane very professional. Explain the issue I was having , Shane made it out to my home with in an hr. Only A/C repairman I could find willing to como out in the middle of the night to fix my A/C. Will definitely be the AC repair company I use for any A/C service in the future. We called CHILL AIR based on the reviews that we read here in Google. Unfortunately, our experience with CHILL Air didn’t end well. We had to release Chill Air from our claim paying $1208.34 with no working air conditioner. Our unit from outside stopped working on 8/12/22 and when he came and evaluated the system. He suggested that we needed a new defrost board, replace a rusted filter drier, and to repair a leak not by refrigerant chamber. In the end we were billed for those three items plus a new thermostat that we had no issues before hand but was blown out as he triggered something on the outside unit. A new thermostat was installed by him but is not working due to him dropping the thermostat in my presence. Also, A New transformer which initially wasn’t needed was added, and refrigerant that wasn’t filled up due to technician puncturing a hole and we were charged for. Mr. Adam Claimed that we turned off the unit before he could refill it. This isn’t true. But in the end he still charged us for it. The Wiring was all messed up and he switched out things that didn’t need to be switched out. We had to hire new company to fix our air conditioner to prevent any further damage by chill air. The other company successfully fixed it immediately. Where as, chill air took 5 days with no success. I sent a text to the owner on 8/18/2022 from Chill Air to request receipt for thermostat so that we can go and get a new one and a refund for the 3 lbs of refrigerant that was billed to us yet we didn’t receive it. He claimed I was attacking him on a personal level and I reiterated that it wasn’t a personal attack but that were wanting those two things in order to move forward. I was graceful and very precise as to what I believe was true and exact as to what happen. I have documentation from the other company that they needed to rewire the system in order to proceed with the repair. In the end what we really needed was a fan motor. We specifically told Chill Air when they arrived that the unit from outside stopped working. One thing led to another and we ended up with a big bill with no working a/c. I told Mr. Adam that we were lead to believe that we were going to hire a reliable contractor. My husband and I along with Chill Air agreed that it was best that he quit working on our unit because we were afraid of any further damage and he had zero success in repairing it. I was reluctant to put out a review but I wanted to prevent another person going through what we dealt with. We dealt with Mr. Adam for 5 days and on the 4th and 5th day we realized that we were probably not going to get our unit up and running based on what we were seeing and dealing with. The last two texts from Mr. Adam I received was this-

I didn’t contact him again by text but We are still waiting for the receipt and the refund for refrigerant. Chill Air was given approval for three things and he never mentioned that he was going to replace anything else that would be charged to us.

I only pray that people do not fall for it and truly think twice before they reach out to this company. The thermostat is not working that he installed and we had to buy another one to get our unit working. If you notice in his reply. Not once did he mention to offer to give us the receipt in order for us to exchange for a new one. Plus the refund for the refrigerant wasn’t mentioned either. A business Can not strive on lies and false accusations. Just do the right thing and give us the receipt and give us our refund for refrigerant that we didn’t get.
That company has no word since he came to check my unit and it was frozen and he told me that he would come back in 1 hour to check the unit, before he left he told me that his recommendation was to change the entire unit for almost 7,000 but he never returned to our home, did not answer calls or messages. The next day I contacted another company and in less than 1 hour they managed to fix it without having to buy a new unit. I will never recommend it
Shane called after requesting a quote, gave a very reasonable quote. He was able to setup appointment for the next morning, finished the refrigerator repair in less than 2 hours. He even check another appliance to see what was causing its issues and was able to fix one and will schedule the other with him at a later date. Awesome service, very professional, great rates, and would definitely recommend to anyone/everyone.
Excellent: Shane came out exactly when he said he would. He fixed the AC and sent me pics so I could see what he had done. He was pleasant to communicate with. The cost was very reasonable. I would certainly recommend him. I've recommended him to a neighbor and my daughter!
Our plumber found a leak in our AC when installing a softener. Shane from Chill Air showed up very quickly for same day service! His price was reasonable and he went above and beyond to explain what went wrong, how he fixed it, and how we can mitigate further damage. Very appreciative, and will be using him again.
Shane and Brandon went out of there way to help me and my kids tonight and it meant more to me than he will ever know. I moved into a real fixer upper and they said the ac didn’t work so I called a guy he came and charged me a ridiculous amount of money and didn’t fix it. I called Shane on Friday after I came home to work and it was 90 degrees in my house with my teenagers at home and we went out fo town due to a family emergency so it wasn’t pertinent but today when I got off he came and spent almost 6 hours with another gentleman named Shane. They knew after the last guys charged me an arm and a leg that I couldn’t afford a lot and was only asking them to do what they could for the amount of money I had and if it was something more I’d find a way to take care of it later but they stayed and worked and made sure everything that could go wrong didn’t go wrong. I had a terrible day and honestly have had a terrible month where everything that could go wrong did go wrong so them staying to make sure that didn’t happen meant the world to me. I was thinking about how terrible things have been and about ready to just accept that and these gentleman came and honestly made my month and reminded me that some people are good and kind and helpful and they do what they can for people. I sat here and cried and felt grateful and appreciative of all of the things that can go right and a working AC. Thank you Shane and Brandon you made this moms heart happy and joyful
