We had a technician to come check our unit. The same part that they replace three years ago needed replacing. However, he put 5 pounds of Freon in until the part could be changed and due to the slow leak he warned us that it may last three days or three months. Well, it lasted three days. Then, my brother-n-law came and put more Freon in which was less than five pounds and it is still cooling after two weeks. Beware, the technicians are not doing the work that they are charging you for.

I purchased 2 new Lennox systems from Alpine in 2015, 2.5 years ago. One of them just failed. Watch this space to find out how they handle this. I started them out with 5 stars and knocked one off because they did not send a promised tech out to me today. UPDATE: Alpine sold me two Lennox systems, despite known issues at the time with Lennox coil failures. The Lennox coils offered a 10 year Warranty so I didn't really dig into any issues, that warranty gave me FALSE confidence! Great. I have a warranty. It still costs $900 bucks to replace a coil and the labor is not covered. If I am replacing the coil every 2.5 years, Its still a TERRIBLE IDEA TO BY A LENNOX AC UNIT. PLEASE AVOID LENNOX. ALSO AVOID HIGH EFFICIENCY, where it means the coil material is thinner. One way the AC makers have increased efficiency is to thin the coil tubing walls, which makes them fail du to corrosion much faster. Congrats, earth! We saved 1% energy and used 100 times that building and installing a whole new part! UPDATE: Lennox coil failure rate has not improved, and now Alpine charges $1200 to change them.

I have used Alpine Air for many years. They recently gave me a bod for a project and did the project. It seemed to me that they did not have to do all the things that were estimated. I requested a review and they price adjusted with not problem. That is how you keep customers!

Thanks

I had called a big outfit in Houston. After a 3 visits and a misdiagnosis, I still had a dripping exterior HVAC drainage pipe(cost me $1100). Alpine air sent out their technician, Ben Rivera. He was courteous, professional, correctly diagnosed my problem, and fixed it for $127. I strongly recommend Alpine Air for tour HVAC needs. They need to take care of Ben Rivera like they took care of me.

I have used them five times now for our home built in 2010, the most recent today.

They have replaced evaporator coils twice and added freon on two other occasions. Today was a blown fuse in the furnace due to a thermostat change out to Nest.

They have been nothing but prompt and have done a great job each and every time. They have come out the same day once and the next day all other times very close to the estimated time of arrival. Techs are easy to talk too and explain things in simple terms.

I have nothing but good things to say about them and will continue to use them for my AC needs. A very happy customer.

Today is 5/17/2017.
Called them to request service that we got on 3/31/2017 to one of our 2 units describing what was happening from the beginning. Problem has remained ever since even tho they have come numerous times and as of today they have not solved the problem but charged for the service call. This is an office building/commercial service and we all know they charge even more than residential for their services. Well I don't have an issue if their so called professional "Techs" can't figure out what the problem is but the lack of professionalism and ethics! One time the tech said that "the problem must be the owner" That the owner doesn't know how to use the thermostat! Are you serious I asked him. In more than once the tech was disrespectful and unprofessional. I Requested to talk to a supervisor, was told by their staff that someone will be calling back. Who called? the tech! Saying that he have spoken to other 2 senior techs to get a probable idea where the problem might be. So I gave him a chance again to make things right. Came and found out the belt at the air handler was lose, okay, got that taken care of and charged also, but that has nothing to do with the original problem which still remains and the office is hot and miserable! I have called many times to have them come and fix it but obviously they don't know not only how to run a professional business but the trade! The tech got rude and an attitude with me over the phone showing lack of education, manners and principals, really, to a point that I demanded to speak with a supervisor, well I found out why the tech is the way he is. The supervisor got on the phone with me and when I was halfway describing the matter at hand hung up on me. I've called back saying that we got cutoff and I was told he was busy, that he will call me back. All this was early in the am and now it's 4:03 PM close to the end of our work day. I will send a letter to The BBB and to them also where I will express my true feelings and you bet I will not use or recommend them at all. Besides not showing up when told and then showing up without notice and say that replace a part without checking in with anyone at our premises shows this individual and company are not trustworthy.

Alpine Air technician came twice and gave me an estimate. On the day of promised installation, the guys did not show up. My house was 100 degrees. When I called the office, they were rude and non responsive. They told me to go to shopping mall. How low can it get? Never heard from the technician Ben Anstead either.

I have used alpine 4-5 times over the years. They always do a fantastic job for a fair price. In fact I blew a fuse installing a new thermostat and they came out on a saturday morning and replaced it for free.

This company is top notch in my book. They were the original installers of our AC units in 2003 when the house was built. We've utilized them for check-ups and fixes since then. Great customer service from the front desk to the technician. They are also quick and fairly priced, great job guys!
