We cannot say enough good things about this company! We were having problems with our air conditioner. They responded promptly and continued to make sure we were taken care of until the part could be located and installed. Everyone we dealt with was professional, friendly and went out of their way to make sure our problem was resolved.
So, not only these ppl are crooks, but the shear audacity for corporate to call and ask if I want to renew my 'warranty'!!! I am not mad because the issue is not covered under warranty, Im furious that it took 5 'technicians' to come and discover this. Many missed appointments and such in between too. Dont walk away, run from this place!!! (You have been warned...)

The customer service is horrendous. Lisa is who typically answers the phones and she is rude, dismissive and acts like it is a huge chore to get on the schedule. I've talked to her on three separate occasions this year and each time I talk with her it gets worse.
This most recent exchange I was simply trying to get on the schedule and when I said I couldn't do mornings because I take my son to school and wouldn't be home in time her response was "what do you do stay there all day with him or something" I dont really understand how that is any of her business or why it should be a contributing factor to getting a tech out to fix an appliance.
In a previous encounter with her instead of simply getting me on the schedule for AC service she spent 5 minutes trying to tell me how it is completely normal for my AC unit to run upwards of 8 degrees higher than what its set at. I didnt call to get a lecture on how to operate an AC unit I called to get a tech scheduled to come service my unit.
We would like to stay with BFS because we truly do have nothing but good things to say about the technicians but if the customer service remains how it is with Lisa then we will be taking our business elsewhere.
I am a new customer. Just over little over 3 weeks now. I confidently called to get my shower bathtub dripping issue resolved. They scheduled the tech on the 4th day from the call. Upon arrival the tech said “yes you have Platinum Package, but it doesn’t come with ext plumbing “ so we cannot replace the $50 cartridge needed to fix your issue. I was very disappointed. Called the local office who said I’m beyond my 10 day grace period and cannot add the extended plumbing now. The same answers I got from the head office in Florida and there seemed like a big disconnect. I’m left with the issue unresolved.
I used their service on many of my rentals. They always respond in timely manner and call before they start the repair and after its completion. Repair done to renters satisfaction. Once we assigned the task they completes it. I totally rely on them. They are good to keep for my business.

If there was a 0 or negative star they would get it. Not a person who post reviews but they earned it. Worst company and worst customer service. They messed up my new dishwasher.Had them over to take a look why the dishwasher is not drying the dishes. The technician they sent was not tidy and had a strong smoking smell he pulled out the whole dishwasher lost the brackets did not put it back the right way. Diagnosis was heating element was not working. Once he left we could not enter the kitchen for two hours when the smell subsided I went and looked at the dishwasher and it was missing the brackets and it was not in the place as I’ll put the dishes and everything will fall off from the baskets sliding out. Called them next day That something is messed up. Second technician came after a month to take a look what’s going so to my understanding he came to fix it but he took the picture and told me that they will order the part back-and-forth calling and no service from them for next two months saying that the part is backordered.I asked the lady I will order some top brackets and let’s get it fixed temporarily she agreed. Tech came put the top brackets to hold the dishwasher. So here we still waiting on side brackets as agreed Today when I called she said we have already fixed it and nothing is coming up and she was all rude and was yelling. BFS home warranty needs to give some basic training do its employees how to talk to their clients. Save your money save your appliances and time stay away from this rude and unprofessional people. Last but not least dishes are still not drying because it was a wrong Disgnostic to begin with and can’t risk my dishwasher anymore to this unprofessional company and untrained techs. HORRIBLE COMPANY STAY AWAY STOP YELLING ON YOUR CLIENTS. Definitely not giving them my business they lack some basic ethics especially The lady who always picks up calls.
T J Johnston was very helpful and Brandy was very tolerant of my frustrated tone. Issues were resolved with genuine attention and concern. I am certain they are understaffed with quality help as most corporations have been experiencing since this pandemic impact.
The worst experience with this home warranty. Rude and incompetent technicians. Have had problems with AC and heating since the first maintenance visit. One caused a leak and damaged the ceiling, also caused a short circuit and damaged the thermostat and left a burn on the wall. Two weeks later and 5 visits to try and fix the AC problem and still not working. When calling for service you have to wait at least two days before they can come out. Not available on weekends so if emergency your SOL until normal business hours.
We have have multiple issues with our AC unit since we moved in and each time a technician comes (4 times in 3 months) it's a different problem. There is no communication between technicians and the wait times to have items serviced are ridiculous (usually waiting a week minimum). Once the unit is "fixed" it lasts about a week before it goes out again. Being pregnant with the Texas heat is a terrible thing. We will not be renewing our warranty with this company and already know that our year warranty will be up before our AC is ever fixed.
