Cy-Fair Mechanical has done an excellent job replacing my heating system. David the owner and the crew work diligently to get the job done on time in a professional way. I also had them replace my A/C units in the past years - I highly recommend for any repair and installation jobs.

I received 4 quotes for an AC system. Cy-Fair Mechanical came in cheaper than the competition by a good amount. The major standout for me was the attention. David explained everything to me and made sure I understood the difference between the system options. The unit was installed several months ago and I've had no issues with it.

AC went out and needed someone to look at it. I called several companies to get an idea of what to expect for a house call to trouble shoot ac. Just to trouble shoot and not to fix, i was expecting a house call charge of $75 to $125 which based on 3 companies i called.

I decided to research online i found Cy-Fair Mechanical with good reviews. I called and someone promptly text back and set up appointment 3 hours after initial contact, (which was very good) to look at my ac unit.
the tech arrived on time and quickly diagnose the unit. Spend about 10 minutes outside and and another 20 minutes in attic.
Told me ac unit had to be completely repaired, which was correct. Older unit and no sense in replacing outside unit and keeping old unit in attic.
The cost for (give or take 30-40 minutes) of diagnosing unit was $214 which i thought was very excessive for the work that was done. Tech said he would get all information to his office i would get a quote of replacement cost. I had 3 options given to me on 3 tone 13-14-16 seer systems, low end of $6400 and high end of $9200 all with American Standard units.

I did not have a good feeling based on house call charged and the way house call unfolded that i went ahead another company and checking prices on 3 ton units for 14 seer specs.
After 2 companies i was able to find Carrier 3 ton unit 16 seer installed with full warrant on unit and 1 year labor for $4600.
My experience was not a pleasant with Cy-Fair. I guess do thorough research is my best advice.

David gave a quick diagnosis and a recommendation based on the age of the unit and cost of repair. We decided to move on with a new unit and he gave honest and reasonable recommendations, and didn't try to upsell me. They did a fast and professional job installing the new unit.

David, the owner, is responsive, trustworthy, and professional. Traits that seem to be in short supply in this day and age. To give a little backstory: My 14 year old upstairs A/C system wasn't cooling so I decided to go through my home warranty. Long story short, the company my home warranty sent to my house was trying to nickel and dime me without actually fixing the problem. Just putting a Band-Aid on it. I did some research on Google and found Cy-Fair Mechanical. And boy I'm sure glad I found this company. David's prices and quality are hard to beat. I ended up replacing the whole system (outdoor condenser, coil, and furnace). David and his crew were able to knock all of it out in one morning. I am very happy with the results and plan on using them for all future HVAC work.

Cy-Fair Mechanical did an excellent job replacing my old AC unit today. The quality of their work was very good and my price was very fair. Alfredo, the lead installer, did a good job answering all my questions about the install and the unit. I plan to recommend them to all my friends and family for any AC work they need. David's team did an excellent job on installing a new condenser unit today. As stated in previous reviews, he will give you the best options and explain them to make sure you understand. I have used his company in the past to install coils and a furnace. I will call him again for any future AC/heating needs.

Furnace quit working during the freezing weather. I searched on line for repairman with high customer satisfaction.

They sent Thomas the next morning who was very courteous and professional. He found a bad circuit board. He located the part locally and had the job finished on a very acceptable time range.

I called David for a quote and his bid came in lower than other providers I had gotten bids from. This made me nervous at first but after reading some of the reviews, I decided to take my chances. I am glad I did. A crew of 5 guys arrived at my house promptly at the expected time and worked non-stop for the next 7 hours during which they replaced 2 entire units. All of the workers were very friendly and happy to answer any questions I had. I am very happy with my experience, and would strongly recommend Cy-Fair Mechanical to anybody in their serving area.
