Joe Cool's Cooling & Heating

Joe Cools AC came out and had my house cooling again in less that 2 hrs. Nice professional people. The owner came to my house on the initial service call. He is also a nice man. They know their stuff. Two thumbs up for Joe Cool AC.

Just got our hvac system replaced and this company is the best! Joe, Sherri and installers were honest, reliable and gave us a great deal! He will try his best to be there for you and help you out just like he did with us!

Installed an A/C at our place of business. Freezes up constantly.

Installed heat pump at residence. Coil blew up a few years later. Joe showed up immediately talking about how it had the old freon and we should replace it even though the coil was still under warranty because we still would have to pay for labor and freon and the old freon is expensive. I asked him why he sold my wife a heat pump with the old freon just a few years ago, and he commenced to crawfishing. Sure enough, there was a big old sticker on the side nearest our back door (the unit is about five feet from it) that said it used the new freon. He changed his quote from $1,800 to $1,200. I told him that if I had sold a system that blew up while under warranty, I would give the customer a break on the labor cost. Ticked him off, but he dropped the price to a mere $1,000. I got rid of him and called another HVAC man. Got the job done for $400. We had noted that when we changed the thermostat from "Heat" to "Emergency Heat", the heater came on and ran continuously. We came home and the temperature in the house was way over eighty degrees. The guy who replaced the coil for $400 discovered that Joe Cool had miswired the thermostat, causing the problem. We have a rent house where Joe had installed a heat pump, and our tenant called to tell us there was a problem and that THAT unit also ran continuously when on emergency heat. Obviously, not only is the guy more interested in selling something than taking care of his customers, he doesn't even know how to wire a thermostat.

Run, do not walk, away from this guy.

(Note: my wife is a little old lady who has a 'guy' for each of the trades. Once she has a 'guy', she trusts them totally and never asks any questions. This guy thought that he would just stroll in and sell a little old lady a heat pump she didn't need. I simply cannot stand people like this.)

Thank goodness our home warranty sent out Joe Cools to fix our air. They were awesome in getting the motor for our AC and getting it fixed on a holiday weekend! Great service and so friendly!!

Highly recommend! After another company over charged our unit, Joe came out corrected the issue and our system was working perfectly by the next morning!

These guys are terrific! They have been out to our house by Lake Arlington twice. I had water leaking down the air intake to the air handler. I feared the worst. Turns out that the air handler was installed incorrectly. Joe had the guys re-hang the air handler, problem solved! Well done!

Joe cool always treats me right. He fixed my A/C in less than 5 minutes. He's been here 3 or 4 times over the years and he's always been friendly and helpful.

Had Joe come out today for our AC unit and he was absolutely great! Would recommend them to anyone! Definitely will be our AC people from now on! Thank you!
