Joe Cool's Cooling & Heating

We had them scheduled to come this past Monday because our two units were freezing up and not blowing cold air. The repairman walked in my house literally 5 minutes and walked out stating that the problem was fixed and recommended having the AC unit cleaned. Which he stated they don't do that work He never went upstairs to check any vents. Only added freon and said it was fixed, same day same problems existed. What's worse I try to I tried to call into the office to make a complaint and the lady Mary answering was in total defense of the way this job is handled all while telling me that they get paid for their time on a job. My response was how much is 5-7minutes worth. It is 110 to 115° here in Texas and my house is reading at 90 I have also reported them to American home shield.
Update: Joe cools, straight lied...another technician came today and stated the coil is bad and needs replacing. They are running a scam service on AHS!. I bet they got paid while we are still suffering from a 110 degrees heat!

My ac unit is over 25 years old so I have AHS for this reason. Joe Cool was assigned to me on a service call and have always done a great job. Any time I need service I request them, Joe told me it was just a matter time before I would have to replace the complete unit. That time came this month...Joe and Sherry are great people, professional, honest and worked with me and my crazy work schedule to get my new unit in at a great price and fast. Thanks and would and will recommend this company to all my friends and co workers..

This company does nothing but tells lies. They were out on a service call and was very rude. They told both me and my wife the problem was our thermostat thats why the ac was malfunctioning,but when I called my warranty company they told them it was nothing wrong everything works fine. Now I have to get another company to come out because they lied to my warranty company. I would not recommend this company. But that just my two cents.

This company is completely unprofessional, unreliable, and does not act with integrity. We called them to replace the blower motor in our furnace and, when they came out, they took off a high limiter because they said it was way too dangerous and did not even replace the fan blower. Our furnace has been working for 3 1/2 years with no issues and it was very obvious that the technician had absolutely no idea how to fix it or was instructed by the owner of the company Joe not waste his time because they don't make enough money off of it. This was a task through American home shield which we have paid for since we bought our home, and this company is completely unreliable and most likely not capable of fixing your issues in any sort of timely or professional manner. Sherri, the woman who answers their phone is terrible to deal with and is only there to lie for the company and make excuses. Buyer beware! This company is trash and we do not recommend them at all.

I’ve never been more upset about a contractor before. Joe Lefkosi from Joe Cool’s Cooling & Heating came to our house on AHS home warranty call.
I also had 2 electricians at my house replacing several light fixtures, they were the ones who found the disconnected AC vent in the attic.
Joe said the home warranty would deny our claim and it would cost a lot of money out of our pocket to fix it and pointed to my electricians saying they are probably the ones that disconnected it.
He then said “ I give you BOYS $20 to go and connect it back”..
I told them they most certainly did not need to do his job for him.
Not only was he rude, but he is cheating the AHS Home Warranty by not doing the work and lying on the invoice. He said he was there from 11:00-12:30 ( actual time was 12:05-12:30!)

Awesome company! So efficient and easy to work with. Joe came out within two hours of calling AHS diagnosed the problem promptly and set us up on getting a furnace replacement and setting our Trane system up correctly since it wasn’t when we purchased our home. Very knowledgeable and kind team. Sherry on the phone is the absolute sweetest as well! I was so pleased to work with them and was amazed how fast they were able to get out to us in the middle of the ice storm. I would give more stars if i could and will use the company in the future for my ac/heat needs.

We asked our home warranty company to switch our assigned HVAC contractor to Joe Cool’s based on reviews. We were not disappointed. The person who called us was so courteous and helpful. Joe showed up and diagnosed the issue right away. Communication was excellent while we waited for the part to arrive. Joe fixed the problem correctly and we are so happy. Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough about Joe and Sheri! What special people they are. My mom is 83 and LOVES Joe and he was her hero once again. During 105 plus temps her AC went out. Joe saved the day once again. We HIGHLY recommend Joe Cool! He is so honest and gets the job done quick. Thank you so much Joe and Sheri! We cannot thank you enough...seriously! BIG HUGS from my mom Lalla! Joe is a good guy who gives great service! Our 18 year old compressor decided to die over the Labor Day Weekend. Our home warranty company assigned Joe to the job. He called us first thing Tuesday morning, and was out to replace our unit the next day. If you have a problem, he is definitely the guy to call (and if you have a home warranty company, ask them to assign him to the case — you won’t be disappointed).

It seems my 17 year old AC system decided to develop multiple leaks in the Condenser and Evap coil areas, warranting a total replacement by multiple installers. Joe gave me a good quote installing current Trane equipment with some upgrades, and whatever I did not ask of Joe, Sherri was able to answer my remaining questions. The install guys were here promptly the following day, and did what appears to be a great job, in less than a day. I will definitely use them in the future, and have no problem recommending them to others!
