We requested to have our HVAC system looked at as it stopped coming on. We had one of Home Depot's affiliate companies look at it previously and they only wanted to replace the entire unit for $10,000 since it's an older unit. Joe Cool replaced a relay on the unit and got it running in about a half an hour with absolutely no pressure of needing to replace the entire unit. However, when I asked, he said they would do it for around $6,000. If want an honest company that will not try to suck every dime they can out of you, call Joe Cool's!

My experience was great. My heat was not coming on, the motor was just humming but there was no heat. I called my warrantee company and they recommended Joe Cool's Colling & Heating service. Joe Lefkoki showed up within the arrival time promised. He quickly found the problem was in the motor and fixed it on site. He was honest and fast. I verified his honesty with a neighbor who also does HVAC service, he was the one that suggested I use the Warrantee company 1st and if was anything outside of what he had discovered to let him know. So I had a second opinion before I took the appointment. 5 stars for sure.

I was quoted $4200 - $5600 to replace some heat pump components (handler, coil and circuit board(?)) by a big name company for my rental property. I called Joe Cool for a second opinion and a quote to replace the same components. Technician checked the system and found a component was not installed correctly and so was not working properly. He fixed it and cost me only the service fee for the home warranty program. Trust is very important in my business. Joe Cool earned my trust.

My wife and I just purchased our first home. First real warm day in Burleson had the AC unit working a little too hard. Filed a service request with our home warranty, and they scheduled it with Joe Cool's. I tried scheduling service for later in the afternoon, and they made it much later. Turns out we were a few pounds of refrigerant light, Joe gave us a complimentary pound for the incovenience. Will definitely be giving them a call back, and recommending them. Great service - even on a Friday night after a long day. Thanks Joe!

I got an appointment the following day my ac went out. I have American Home Shield Warranty and did some research before choosing Joe's company. We are very pleased with their service. Highly recommended.

OK let's start off like this. My unit is 15 years old. I'm having an issue with my thermostat showing aux heat. I call American Home Shield and Joe's is my tech. The Aux Heat symbol is an apparent alert when the defrost cycle isn't operating properly. Joe comes out and cleans the unit and gets the defrost cycle to kick in properly. I start asking about a new unit. I've got 2100 sq ft with a 3 ton unit and it never has kept the home cool enough or warm enough. He says he can fix me up if I make the decision. He says let the unit run for a couple weeks and if I feel the need recall him and he will have another look at it on his dime. That was cool....no pun intended. Don't forget unit is working still although defrost cycle is starting to Aux Heat occasionally. Check this out though....he is at my house on February 10th the Thursday before our week long winter storm. On the 10th we agree on a new unit of my choice.....a TRANE compressor and a new furnace. 3.5 ton 14 seer unit. His price hit my target....very reasonable by the way.....and I said sure. He also offered up this delicious touch screen thermostat with all the bells and whistles. Don't forget now the storm hits. God bless we didn't lose power and the heater worked fine the whole time until he was able to access the distribution center to get our new unit. A one day job. His crew had this thing operating by like 1 pm. Fully installed. No damage. That delicious touch screen thermostat tells you everything. I never realized what we were missing with this unit installed by the builder. Joe's team handled the job extremely professionally and we for one are very happy. The tech referred to it as the tornado and I'll be darned when it starts blowing air...hot or cold....you feel it. You would have to go a long way to convince me anyone is better than Joe's cooling, Cheri was very much in touch with us along the way. Thanks all...Our paths crossed at the right time. Take care

My AC wouldn't turn on. Called my home warranty company, and they set me up with Joe Cool's Cooling and Heating. Joe came out, tested the unit and found the problem within 5 minutes. Very efficient, and friendly.

I had used Joe multiple times in the past on numerous properties but was very disappointed in the customer service when things go wrong. A coil was replaced and prior to replacing it no leaks were ever present, after the replacement the coil in the hvac system it leaked throughout the house causing over $1275 in damage. I hate giving negative reviews and ruining a perfect 5.0 rating but I did want the customer service be known when things go wrong that Joe Cool does not attempt to offer suggestions to make it right. Sheri the company manager mentioned that the leak was partially a result of the service of joe cool and The plumbing on the house. Although I was willing to offer suggestions on the $1275 in damage post repair(maybe split the cost of the damage), Sheri mentioned they would not be responsible for secondary damage. Secondary damage is defined as, “the damage that can be caused after the initial damage or failure of a not related to a direct repair.”

Because this was partially in relation to both parties I was willing to work with them with splitting repair cost and avoid this as well as a bbb complaint I will be placing later today. Unfortunately the manager was very defensive and did not allow me to offer suggestions.

Sorry Joe Cool you will definitely be on my list of companies to avoid in the future for any and all people looking for service. Service with Joe Cool is good until things go bad. Procede with caution.

Joe's cools installed a new unit for home warranty. Within 1 year a leak developed and they refused to repair the system. When asked why they lied and made up a reason that they dont service that brand. I spoke with the supplier and found that was false. When asked why they stayed that during their visit I said several times that they had done the install.

If I could choose 0 stars I would. Before writing this, I sat to think whether there was any good thing about my experience with Joe Cool's. I couldn't find one. From the very beginning, they misplaced my work order, so had I not called them I would have never gotten service. When the work was scheduled, the tech arrived an hour after my stated window ended, was not apologetic at all, but rather was dismissive and eventually outright rude and walked off the job. The office personnel wasn't any better, promising to call me back but failing to do so, then not answering my calls when I tried to call back. I've never been treated so poorly by an entire company. I'm not sure how they got a contract with AHS, but they don't deserve to keep it and I'll do everything in my power to see that they don't for much longer.
