The whole experience was seamless and easy. Everyone on the team I talked to was responsive and helpful. Demetri and team came out and installed a brand new A/C in under 4 hours. He was respectful and provided great insight to the new system and in general. I will definitely be calling Del’s for any future A/C needs.

We were very happy with Dels until we asked them to install some duct work. I was SHOCKED when I saw the bid. They wanted to charge me 5x the retail cost of the materials needed for the job. I can't imagine how they can justify charging $420 for a 14 in duct that costs $80, and $320 for a 7 in duct that cost $60 at Home Depot. Their bid to install 7 ducts was almost a third of what we paid them to replace the entire system! I would definitely consider a different AC company.

Easy appointment, tech arrived in the middle of the quoted 2 hour window. Quick diagnostic and repair. Totally reasonable service charge but 200+% markup on parts. A $45 cap was $167, but it WAS on the truck when I needed it so I’m not bent out of shape about it.

We had the AC start blowing hot air on Saturday evening. I sent Del an email early Sunday morning (3am), they had me scheduled between 12:30 & 2:30 the same day. The Technician (Rico) actually was early. Rico diagnosis the issue (fan motor) & had the system blowing Cold Air within the hour. I can't say enough good things about Rico, quick to diagnose the issue, professional, polite .Good Experience. I definitely will be referring Del heating and AC to everyone.

I purchased a new American Standard system from Del's the summer of 2019 after they recommend that my unit be replaced. I have been using them over the past 15+ years so I told Del that when the time came I would use them.
First issue I had was trusting them to do all of the warranty and rebate paperwork. The last company that had installed my old unit did the same so I figured that was fine. After several months of not receiving a rebate check from the city of Austin I called Del's and they told me that I was supposed to do it. It was too late at that point so I lost out on a rebate for a nearly $10,000 unit. I'm wondering if they even did the paperwork for the warranty!
Second issue, my outside compressor unit started making a loud hum when it starts up after a long time not being run, like after the cold weather is gone. I recently paid $97 for my wife to be told there was nothing wrong. I stated in the initial scheduled appointment that it was the outside unit, so what does the tech do? He started the unit from inside the house where he couldn't hear the noise! It only does it the one time after being off for a while so it would not do it again. He was looking at the inside unit and it wasn't until he asked my wife what the problem was that he was told it was the outside compressor. Of course he said nothing was wrong and left without doing anything more.
Third issue, they had to remove the fence from the side yard so it would be easier to get the outside compressor changed. They said they would fix the fence but not only did they not fix it, they left it propped up without any sort of support or nails. It could have fallen on the natural gas meter and that would have been a disaster! When are you going to send someone to fix it like it was??
I definitely expected more after spending $10,000 on an American Standard system. The outside unit just made the noise again today, but now it was after being off for less than 24 hours. I'm not going to spend another $97 so someone incompetent can come over again. I'm not sure what happened to Del's but it seems like expansion has caused the service to suffer. I guess they have forgotten about the people who used them for so many years. My Father bought a new unit from them and I even recommended them to his neighbor last year when they needed a new system. What happened Del?
