Foster Hardware

I drove 20 minutes to pickup an order based on curbside pickup, when I arrived they refused to bring our. I called a manager who did not care that I could not enter the store because of the covid crisis, she did not care. She said her website did not offer curbside pickup, but I placed the order on the ACE website that does. She still did not care. Note that here on Yelp curbside pickup is offered. Do not do business with!

This store is not ADA compliant to service members with PTSD about not wearing a mask. They will absolutely refuse to do business with someone without a mask. As others said before, the curbside option is not available even though this listing and the store says it will. Refusing a reasonable service to people like this is also against ADA compliance. A lawsuit is in order.

Great store with a very friendly and helpful staff.

Have been going to Fosters ever since I can remember. They carry more specific items than any of the other large home improvement stores. More personal shopping experience.

Guy who helped me gave me the exact right pieces of hardware to replace my non-standard broken shed hinges.

Most of the time it's a nice experience. Here and there they are off their game. Some employees weren't wearing masks. Overall, great experiences.

Great Customer Service!! The owners are great and provide a wonderful service. If your in the area drop by and purchase your Hardware needs.

Quaint little neighborhood hardware store but I wish they would be a little less "eager" to assist. I bet I get asked 20-30 times in a 10 minute visit if I need help! Lighten up Frances!

This is a great little hardware store Easier parking and FAR better customer service than the big box hardware stores. I can't count the times I've stopped in this convenient store thinking "They'll never have that thing I'm looking for and I'll have to go to HD," but then they had it (Bulk pack 10-32 lock nuts, garage door part, stubby metric wrench,, a specific hinge... I could go on).

The main thing I've learned here is that if you don't see it, Ask. They usually have young employees and I at first assumed they knew nothing. Wrong. They are super helpful and give the kind of service you simply never see at Lowes or Home Depot any more.

So give 'em a try. Odds are you'll be happy with what you find. Amazon delivers next day but yer local hardware folks probably have it Right Now. Besides, it's good to support a local business that hires local kids and teaches them the value of doing a good job. We need more places like Foster's.
