A neighborhood gem with people ready and willing to help you locate what you need, answer questions about products with knowledgeable responses, and even offer ideas on how to tackle projects when necessary. These well stocked stores aren't Lowe's or Home Depot, THANK GOODNESS, but they are a great asset to our neighborhoods and we need to patronize them whenever possible!

Has to be the best place to get hard to hardware. Recently filled up my cars supercharger intercooler with coolant and the bolt to close the charging port sheered off. Walked in, went to the nut and bolt aisle. Worker in that aisle took one look at the broken nut and knew right away what I needed. Workers are very knowledgeable and will get you what you need in no time.

Better stocked than your average Ace Hardware. They've had all the obscure fasteners I've ever needed. Exceptionally polite and helpful staff.

Home Depot and Amazon couldn't beat or match prices on some of the basics like outdoor garbage cans or even plumbing repair tools like pvc pipe cutters or sharkbite adapters. If you have an ACE Hardware store near you check their prices and availability before relying on the big box stores to save the day.

Helpful, knowledgeable employees. Prices a tad higher, but you'll spend more in time and on gas going to the big box hardware stores, or on shipping online.

If you tired of the box hardware stores, wandering around looking for help or the right item; Foster's ACE is the place! Someone greats you and then helps you all over the store getting what you need. Outstanding customer service.

Today, I was deep into a water heater draining that went terribly wrong. I found a part that needed repair or replacement to prevent the drain valve from leaking, and things were oxidized, corroded, etc. I took the part to Foster's Ace Hardware where I've been doing business for 17 years. One of the helpful people there put the part on his workbench and actually got the messed-up screw out, chipped away and replaced the hard-as-a-rock washer, and I was back in business for $0.35. Since the helpful gentleman saved me an expensive visit from a plumber, I asked him if he would accept a tip. He politely informed me that since he was the owner, he didn't take tips. Yeah, seriously. Please do business with this wonderful store and its helpful people.

I've been going to this ace for years and there's always someone willing to help. Today a guy (didn't get his name) helped/let me find and put together a new garbage disposal down to the plug. Thanks.
