I purchased a maintenance agreement and was not satisfied with the results..
They tried to upsale me on their first visit .
With a start-up capacitor. Then they left the
Cap of the service valves making a leak faiure during the FreezeGodzila.
They did come out and made that good.
This is a heat pump system. Then, I found out the electric heating element did not work. They never checked this on their
Maintenance visit. Call for my other Maintenance inspection, and the nerer cameAfter 3 calls!!!
This was 3 years ago.
I hope they have improved.

We've used Alden's Air for a number of years and they have always provided terrific service! We have the yearly service contract and they come out twice a year to make sure we are ready for the heat or the cold by doing an inspection and filter change. We find them to be friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt!
So happy we have them to call when we need help. Great people doing a great job!

Alden Air Conditioning recently replaced one air conditioner and furnaces for our 32 year old home. They provided many options and gave detailed explanations about the pros and cons of each option while also being sensitive to my budget. Several teams were involved in the delivery of equipment and installation and all displayed courtesy and professionalism. I appreciated that they were careful when bringing in the new equipment and removing the old. Much of the large equipment had to be manipulated through the attic access inside the house. Every question throughout the process was cheerfully and knowledgeably answered by the team. The work was completed in a very timely manner and everything works great! I would highly recommend Alden Air.

Our A/C quit blowing cold and I suspected the culprit to be the capacitor for the outside unit. The folks here at Alden talked me through the problem and offered several solutions. Eventually, I took the capacitor to their shop where they checked it for free and determined that it was, in fact, bad. They sold me a replacement for a reasonable price and sent me out the door, but not before clearly explaining the wiring and even labeling the terminals for me. When I got home, I ran into a small issue and called them once again. They walked me through the resolution and made sure I was taken care of. This is how you earn repeat business. They placed me above profits. I am a customer for life after this experience. Thank you Alden!

I bought a new air conditioner in April 2022, and the company that installed it, made a bad mistake they did not connect the heat element. First cold front i had no heat, but Alden air came the same day, the company is the best and service was restored . I plan on using them always, they are now my goto company!!!! Wendy Glover

I can not say enough good things about Alden Air. “The entire staff of Alden Air is very friendly, responsive, helpful and treats you like family". Especially techs Andrew & Chase all the way to Jennifer at the front desk and Roger the owner. I give 10 STARS! My techs Andrew and Chase explain the maintenance/upkeep my 22 year old unit has, always do what just needed to keep my work horse operating, no "extra" sales, and have never tried to sell me a new. They offer an very economical yearly maintenance program. I finally found a company who is truthful, honest and fair and values customer service! : )

This company is criminally overcharging people who they know are stuck between a rock and a hard place if their A/C goes out in this extreme Texas heat. Charging a $130 "diagnostic fee" just to show up and fix your issue. On top of that if you do have an issue that they have diagnosed that they can fix, they refuse to apply any portion of the diagnostic fee whatsoever to the final invoice. I literally had a $5.00 fuse that needed replacing. They charged me $250. The issue took less than 30 minutes to repair. The price to install a Google nest, a relatively simple job that would likely take less than 30 minutes also obscenely exorbitant. Alden air conditioning would do well to stop bilking their customers who they have over a barrel in this heat. Never again will I request their services and you shouldn't either.

I have had Alden Air for 30 years now and have gone through two Heat Pump replacements (one just this week). Roger and Glen have been very professional, knowledgable, and honest in recommending and explaining the systems to me. Roger came out once himself last summer when I was out of town and he and his techs fixed the problem. That's when he indicated I may be needing a new unit before long! The staff is very helpful and the technicians have always been there to maintain my unit and make honest repair recommendations.

A business with integrity, imagine that! I called Alden due to a home standby generator problem. After a quick diagnostic, they advised me that repair would be premature based on the pricy replacement part from Generac. When the time comes, I'm calling Alden for my HVAC and home standby generator service.
