Choose elsewhere for your business. We had to replace our HVAC system and they were the cheapest option but weren't very quick. Our Home Warranty service made us use them even though they ended up not covering it. It wasn't a terrible experience, just not great. The technicians are very nice and helpful but the office isn't. You'd think paying thousands and thousands of dollars would make them appreciate your business. Here we are 15 months later and the blower motor already went out. Luckily it's covered but again, they're not quick to help us get our heat back on. I had to stay home from work for their 4 hour service window and no one showed or called. We had to take off work again so someone could come out the next week. The technician didn't have the part and needed to ordered it. They were suppose to call and let us know when the part was ordered and didn't. I called to follow up and she was short and couldn't tell me an ETA. She seemed annoyed that I asked. It's 35 degrees at night and we don't have heat! They have nice technicians but terrible equipment and customer service. I recommend spending a little more money for better equipment and service.

We scheduled an appointment through Assured Heating & Air because our home warranty through Home Warranty of America had them as one of their vendors. We did have to pay $60 for this, and I am extremely glad we didn't give them a penny more though I would've preferred to have given them nothing because they were pretty much useless. Our heat went out on a Saturday night, and apparently they don't have an emergency team so they didn't come to our house until Monday. Even then they were a few hours late. Within 5 minutes they said our circuit board was broken and that they would have to order us a new one, which would take days to receive and install. So they pretty much expected us to go without heat for a few days and offered no other alternatives. Luckily, we called another company on the same day who came out within the hour and was able to get our heat back on in 15 minutes. They found the problem right away (a blown fuse) and explained the whole process to us. When we told them what Assured had done, they were baffled. From what I can gather, Assured seems to have this deal through Home Warranty, which is like guaranteed business for them so they don't seem to care about their terrible customer service or even providing accurate information. They would have put us in the hole for $450 for something we didn't even need because they seem to lack any knowledge about their own jobs. We will never use them again and shame on Home Warranty for referring such a horrible company.

They came out to our house in June and told us our unit was shot and we needed a new one. It took 2 weeks to have air in the middle of summer with a baby. 90+ degrees in the house for two weeks and they could have cared less!!! We have a home warranty so they tell us we are getting a new unit but we have to pay a $900 deductible to the company fixing the issue. We go to turn the heat on last night and nothing!! I find out today that the unit is NOT new and have to pay another $ 60 trade fee and pray that its a simple fix! I told the home warranty company to NOT sent this company out and to use a different one. I would never recommend this company!!!!

Update: another company came out and discovered assured didn't even hook our gas up to the unit! Luckily the new company did this free of charge!

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

As of this review I have gone 12 days with no heat. They installed parts today and my heater is doing the exact same thing.
Customer Service is HORRIBLE. Their attention to detail is non-existent. I transferred my repair to another company. Due to I have no faith in them fixing ANYTHING CORRECTLY. The Attitude alone of their Dispatcher / Owner or whoever I spoke with sucked. Unable to leave a voicemail over the last 12 days, due to the mailbox is full. I could go on and on with many more reasons why I do not want them back at my property.
Hope people read the reviews and take notice..... I am upset would be saying it mildly....

Please do not use this company.

    Here’s the short version...
We were referred to them via our home warranty to come fix a heating vent problem in our house. They were great at calling quickly on a Friday afternoon and setting up a visit the next day between 8am-noon. The next day comes and we wait and wait and nobody shows up. No calls, no trucks or vans outside, nothing. Since this was a Saturday, I wait until Monday morning to call them because I had received a bill from our home warranty “because a technician came to our home at the requested time slot and we were not there.” This came as a surprise to us because we were here, we actually stayed home all day, listened for the doorbell, checked outside when we heard a car or truck drive by, nothing. I called this company and they said “the technician came to to your house, rang the doorbell, knocked, and called and left you a voicemail.” This was a complete lie because we were home, my phone was nearby all day, our doorbell works fine, and I even confirmed our address and phone number with them and it was correct. I tried contacting them again asking to please find out what happened because we are being billed for a visit that never happened. They continue to lie about the fact that someone came. What I never told them was that we have a camera at our door and I went back and even watched the video to see if anyone came by or even parked our front...nothing! So thankfully I do have proof if I continue to get billed but please avoid this company if possible!

Please take the time to read this. I get that this companies reviews aren’t all stellar, but there is a serious distinction that needs to be made and you as a potential customer need to understand.

First, I do not work for this company, nor have any affiliation other than as a customer. And I will be 100% honest, when I found out I was about to be a customer, I googled Assured and got nervous, as i am sure you are, if you are reading this. I was going to be an Assured customer because that is who Choice Home Warranty chose to service my warranty claim.

I feel it necessary to write a lengthy review as I, like most people, check company reviews and got nervous that Assured was the company about to be doing the work on my house. BUT, my experiences couldn’t have differed more from most of these reviews and an explanation is needed.

Please take note that all of this transpired on a Friday, in January, with temperatures ranging between 0 and 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Not an ideal time for your furnace to die.

Second, please understand the difference between this company and Choice Home Warranty. This company IS NOT Choice Home Warranty, they are an approved service technician and that is the source of the majority of the issues I faced, and I am sure, most people faced. I will say that I faced a lot of issues with Choice Home Warranty and it easily reflects back in Assured, but that isn’t accurate. Here is what happened to me, and undoubtedly what typically happens, and reflects poorly on Assured, but it is not Assured.

I filed a warranty claim with Choice Home Warranty for an issue with my furnace. Choice sent Assured out to my house and next thing I knew a technician was telling me that my furnace needed a repair, but the reality was that I should replace my furnace. Sounds typical, right? A technician saying you shouldn’t repair, but rather replace something.

BUT let’s be clear on this, Assured service techs do not received a commission nor any bonuses for selling units. I know this for a fact as one of the installers of my new unit was the President and Owner of Assured (more on that later).

So I started to question the tech, who took the time to show me the issues with my unit, item by item. He then walked me through what the repair would do and why in the long run it wasn’t a good idea. It was what Choice would want and pay for, but it wasn’t in my best interest. He put the paperwork together to get the repair authorized by Choice and submitted it.

Shortly thereafter I called Choice to find out about next steps. It’s a Friday morning, middle of winter, and going into a weekend without heat was not what I wanted for me or my family. So I get a human at Choice that lets me know they received the paperwork, but have to try to get the part for the repair.

CRITICAL POINT HERE: Assured had the part in stock and could have made the repair the same day, but Choice wants to source parts themselves to save money. So you the customer get told that when the part is in stock, the repair can happen. So I call Assured, confirm they have the part, and ask if they can do the repair the same day...Yes they can, but Choice won’t buy the part from them. Choice has to supply them the part and then will just pay for the labor. Choice told Assured it would take 7-10 business days to get them the part. Not something Choice shared with me...

So I call Choice back and they try to tell me that Assured doesn’t have the part. I have a photo in my texts from the Assured service tech of the replacement part. I continue to question Choice on the fact that it would be at least 14 days that my family and I will go without heat. Choice says there is nothing they can do as there are no parts in stock. So this is where you, the Customer, would get pissed at Assured and begin hounding Assured each and every day to get your heat turned back on, yet Assured could have had it fixed immediately, but is at the whim of Choice. You the customer get screwed and so does Assured, all the while, Choice is the real issue.

I had to use Assured Heating and Air to repair and ultimately replace my AC unit. I have never been so disappointed in a company in my life. They missed scheduled appointments. They showed up late for appointments. It took them over 3 weeks to install the new AC unit (it was in the 90s the entire time).
Once the unit was finally installed they told my daughter that they would return the following day to complete the work. It had been over 6 weeks and finally yesterday they said they would be out the following day to repair after countless phone calls and complaints. They said they would contact my daughter and would make the repairs between 9-2. After my daughter spent over 5 hours in town waiting for them to call, she called them and they said the work was complete and they had forgot to contact us! This company is very unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone! Horrible service and attitude!

Consider this a zero rating. Long story short, I was told I had to use these guys for my home warranty. After assessing that my coil needed to be replaced, they “warned” me that the home warranty company might insist on some upgrades that I would be required to pay for. To replace the coil was $1300 and they insisted I was responsible for $4500 in upgrades in order for them to replace a coil....based on Assured’s report. It was well over 100 degrees in my home for five days while they tried to scam me. I finally told the warranty company that if I was responsible for $4500 of the repair, I will be using another company. Not only was I quoted $4200 to change out the entire system, the new company topped me off with refrigerant so my home is not over 100 degrees while I wait. Basically, Assured Heating and Air tried to scam me into paying nearly $6000 to replace a single part when the entire system can be replaced for much, much less.

The experience with Assured Heating & Air was by far the worst I have ever had with any company. I was forced to use them through my home warranty group and have since filed several complaints. From Start to finish, it took Assured 7 months to finish repairing my air conditioning unit. When I was told that I would get a call back, I would get nothing until I would call back days after I was told I would receive an update. When I was told the repair would be made, they were 4 hours late to the appointment and did not come with the right parts. The owner just came to take pictures. It took several more weeks for the correct part to be ordered and another week for me to be scheduled in. I worked directly with the owner and could not have been more irritated by the terrible attitude and service.

If you use Assured Heating and Air, the only thing that you can be "Assured" of is a very poor experience.

Seriously, they were so amazing! I'm happy my home warranty set them as my service repair folk. My issue (blower computer failing) wasnt something that could be fixed on the spot. It happens. Parts need to be ordered per the manufacturer's warranty and such. The delay for repair was NOT on Assured, but on the home warranty company and the manufacturer. Anyone who has given these guys a low rating were doing so out of discomfort in their homes, not realizing it is mostly due to the home warranty company or whatever manufacturer warranty. Very professional, friendly, and personable. I would recommend Assured Heating and Air to my own mother (if she lived here haha). I will, however, recommend them to friends who live in the community. Thank you, for a job well done and getting my home cool again.
