I used Helton's to install the heat and air system for a new house I was building. They were very professional and did all the work to my specifications. The gentlemen that came to my home took time to answer all my questions and showed up exactly when they told me they would.
During the planning stage of my home I researched and got quotes from various companies. Helton's price was very fair and there were no hidden charges when I received my final bill. I wish this had been the case with all the contractors I used. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have used Helton's for several projects over the last five months, and I have been very pleased. My wife and I moved to Nashville from New Jersey, and the condo that we purchased needed plumbing, electrical and HVAC work. Being from out-of-town, I had no knowledge or connection with Helton's, but I called them because their website indicated they could address the three areas above. They were also recommended by Crye-Leike Realtors and had an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. They have since installed a new HVAC unit downstairs, vent fans in the crawl space, serviced the upstairs HVAC, corrected electrical and plumbing code violations, and installed new thermostats. The technicians are knowledgeable, skilled, courteous, professional, and reliably on-time. Scheduling is quick and efficient, and their prices are competitive. I recommend them without reservation.

WOW. The best prompt service I have ever had. !!!!!! I called on a Sunday to get my air conditioner fixed. And the owner of Helton’s heat an air responded immediately to the call was at my house by 9:00 that morning. Very reasonable on rates. One can suggest home town services are are to find !!! I will always use the service in the future. ESPECIALLY because I had called several places before finding Helton’s service and the response from one company was couldn’t fix my air conditioner until TUESDAY. I SAID NO THANKS. CAN YOU IMAGINE AS HOT AS IT IS WAITING. TILL TUESDAY!!!! AGain HATS OFF TO DAVID HELTON WITH HELTONS HEAT AN AIR I AM GREATFUL FOR 24 HOUR SERVICE THAT YOU PROVIDE. Amazing service! I called on Sunday morning after finding my unit had stopped working overnight. David was willing to come to our house that afternoon and was able to get it back working on same visit. Was very friendly and willing to answer questions about the problem. Couldn't have asked for a better result!

Had a problem with the air conditioning... called at 10 in the morning and they came right out! Allowed me to watch the process and explained everything along the way. Was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Will definitely call Heltons back for our air conditioner service needs.

Absolutely horrible!! Not sure how my experience could have been any worse. A/C went out. Called and they sent out a technician who knew nothing about HVAC. The technician reset the HVAC and got it to run for about an hour and left. Called and asked if they could come back out because it was still not working. Claimed it would be a week before they could come back. Foolishly I waited and made the appointment. A week goes by and they are a no show. Called them and they tell me the technician is out of town and it will be at least another week and there is no one else they can send. A little heads up would have been nice. Had to miss work to be there. Would advise going with anyone else. With all the companies I have dealt with this is by far the worst one.

Helton Service Company is fantastic! Great professional service at a reasonable price! Great customer service and a quick response time!! They have repaired my HVAC for several years now!

They charge $75 for service call. You would expect they do something but not really. My AC was not cooling during hot days. They came and test the pressure, and said I have too much R410A and released some (I hired another AC guy who actually found the problem is the duct leakage but they also said the R410A is low which is probably because Helton misdiagnosed and released the R410A to cause it running glow. They declined to go to the attic to check and wants to charge another 150 to check the attic. Then they say they can do all other kinds of crazy repair which they don’t promise that can fix the problem for over $600. So common sense tells me not to do it. So I’m out of 75 and still have the same problem and they created a new one by releasing my refrigerant. I found another guy thru a friend. They went to the attic with no additional charge and fixed the leak. They actually came twice because they have to bring a smaller person to go to the back to fix the leak and they only charge me one service call for $59. And mostly importantly, they charge me after they fixed the problem. Compared to Helton, they are much more professional.
