Tim A. came out for our annual maintenance; and, he arrived on time and performed a thorough maintenance. He was friendly, professional, and informative as we walked through options for maintenance plans and potential UV light(s) installation/maintenance. This is my first time working with them, but they're off to a great start!

Daniel was out today (Feb 3) for our heat not working. He arrived very quickly, figured out the problem, and had it resolved within 15 minutes. Continue to be impressed by their responsiveness and professionalism.

Superior emergency service! We returned home at 10pm on a Friday night to a hot house. The A/C unit had broken while we were out of town. We called A/C Plus, received a call back quickly and the tech arrived at our house shortly after that. He was pleasant and professional and even had the part in his truck he needed for a complete repair. Even with the additional after-hours fee, the cost was incredibly reasonable. We would absolutely use them again!

Woke up one morning to a very warm humid house. I called AC Plus. Within forty five minutes the technician was here. He found the problem. Very bad compressor. By early afternoon I had a contract, and start date and time for work to begin. On the scheduled day the team showed up on time and got to work!! Very respectful of my home, covered walkways, hallway and stairs. Eight hours later they were the start up tests of the complete new system! It’s been almost a week and no problems. I have used this company several times over the last twelve years and have never had any issues. I definitely will continue to use and recommend AC Plus to family and friends.

Recently we had a water leak in our crawlspace which caused damaged to the HVAC ductwork under our home. "Coach Nathan M." of A/C Plus, came out and did a detailed inspection and provided us with a range of repair options. He did a great job of explaining the "pros and cons" of each repair option. What impressed me the most, was the team work that was on display throughout the day. Nathan's team clearly understood their roles. They executed their assignments with ease and had the necessary team support to get the job done in one day. Nathan jumped in on several occasions to help get things done which I know his team appreciated. I come from a background of hard physical work and was truly impressed and appreciative of their dedication and commitment to delivering high quality results in a challenging environment. Finally, Nathan is truly a great "coach" and strong team leader. His team responds to him because he is a good man. You are lucky to have him and the entire A/C Plus family. First Class Operation!

Recently, I had a surprising experience with Roscoe/Brown after a routine service call. I’ve been using R/B for the past couple of years with exemplary service. My HVAC, American Standard, is 13 however I’ve had it routinely serviced and no issues. Last week, technicians from R/B indicated I needed to replace the draft inducer motor for $837 and I may want to consider a new HVAC unit since federal guidelines will require a 15 Seer rating begging 01 Jan which means the cost of any unit will increase by 20-30 percent. The technician (very pleasant) asked if I wanted to order one to which I said “absolutely not”
I contacted AC Plus the company who installed my unit in 2009. Wanting to be proactive and perhaps change the unit before there’s an emergency, I ask to sit with someone. Tim Vantrease spent an afternoon with me educating me on all things HVAC. I never felt pressured and he was very in tune to someone living on a fixed income and prices.
After thoughtful consideration over the weekend, I contacted Tim to say right now I just cannot justify the cost knowing that GVAC units will increase in ‘23. I did request a new draft inducer motor in the hopes I could squeak out a few more years with regular maintenance. Tim asked if he could send someone over to take another look at the unit like a second opinion. James arrived and took a pic of the motor in question. He provided a detailed explanation to include there’s nothing wrong with the motor. Thank you, AC Plus…you have my business for life. As a side note, I did call R/B and told the manager I wasn’t comfortable with the technicians assessment considering for the past two years, all I received were positive evaluations. I do apologize for this lengthy review however I feel it’s important to share positive & negative experiences for those who may be in my position as a female living alone on a fixed income. Thank you Tim & James.
