Paul Smith with Brown Refrigeration came out today and repaired one of my AC units and performed the spring inspection and cleaning. He was super friendly and very professional. I feel very confident in my system to perform cooling our home and keeping us comfortable now that we’ve had this service done. Great experience!

Brown Refrigeration installed a new Trane compressor today. Excellent job by Paul Smith - the best AC/heat service tech you could ask for. Fast, efficient, knowledgeable, fair. He has serviced my other equipment in the past under a maintenance contract with the company and is always friendly, nice, professional and goes the extra mile to make customers happy. The technician, John, arrived on time and immediately went to work. He was very professional, thorough, knowledgeable, personable and diligent in servicing my heat pump. He was friendly and informative. John has a no-nonsense attitude. I was impressed by the way in which he treated my unit and handled his own equipment. John's work ethic and sense of duty are praiseworthy. He readily answered my questions and took time to explain what I needed to do between maintenance checks. Bill the sales manager is an expert in HVAC systems and gave a very honest representation of a installation costs of a complete HVAC replacement as well as provided different system quote setups to meet my budget. My family has used them since 1993, and they replaced still functioning 30yr old Trane system that was running out of service life soon. I reached out to other HVAC companies and these competitors were not willing to provide set price or static quote and they seemed very scamy. The after sales service tech John C that checked freon levels after it warmed up outside was very professional and an expert in HVAC systems. I highly recommended Brown refrigeration!

I got multiple quotes before ultimately choosing Brown Refrigeration (BRI). Out of all the quotes/estimates, BRI recommended the correct sized equipment for today's HVAC systems, which the competitors completely didn't notice. This helped save me some money as well. BRI had knowledgeable staff, friendly, sympathetic to my situation, and thoroughly cleaned up after the work was done.

John was the consummate professional. He quickly isolated the damage (which had been caused by varmints), and then expertly repaired the damaged wires. He then identified and corrected other needed deficiencies.

I needed a new HVAC system in our home so we called Brown Refrigeration. Larry Brown came out to give us an estimate. When it was all said and done I felt comfortable with his proposal, we set a date for installation. The technicians showed up on time and did an outstanding job on the install. Very courtious, polite and kept everything clean on a rainy day. It has been 2 weeks now and the Trane system they installed is wonderful. I definitely picked the right company, thanks guys.

Our upstairs unit was not cooling correctly. I called Brown Refrigeration and spoke to Mr. Brown himself. He was very polite and professional. He sent out a technician the same day I called. Paul Smith, the technician, was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He took the time to explain the repairs and show me pictures of the state of my current systems. I truly appreciated his integrity and insight! I will recommend Brown Refrigeration to everyone I know!!

I reached out to Brown Refrigeration for AC unit issues because of their great reviews but they have dissappointed me. They came out to look at the issues (the technician was great) but I waiting for a quote and never received one. I reached out for updates multiple times and never heard back. When I called, I was told I would receive a call back and never did. If Brown refrigeration did not want to do the work, I wish it was just communicated rather than to be ignored.
